Hi Geochime77, I´m doing brand new building overhaul mod and sadly it won´t be compatible with your mod, would it be possible to use some your praying buildings?I really like the concept and use them in my campaigns. Of course you will get credits and link to this original mod :)

I don't think the mod is working on my current on going campaign, had one lord stayed for 3 turns with the 50% chance and one other staying for the bunch of turns and didn't get the neg traits remove. Also tried with Ulric great temple for 4 turns and it still didnt work. Does it only work on certain neg traits or is there other potential mod conflicts other than the the building effects?

Unfortunately, removing the bad traits is actually done in the script "wh_dlc07_virtues_and_traits" so the building effects just seem to be "dummies" there to tell the player the chances.

It may be possible to get it to work for other factions by editing the script.

Great mod idea but can anyone confirm if this works OUTSIDE of bretonnia? SFO tried to do the exact same thing but apparently it does not work, you can add 100% chance to remove, it would show up in game, but the trait will never be gone. It seemed to be an unique mechanics of Bretonnia at the time.

Appreciate if someone can confirm :) If yes then awesome mod

I think horde factions should have their chances reduced as they can carry their buildings with them

finaly a tool that removes the traits I hate to obtain, question though does it works towards heroes who picks up bad traits?

same problem Vlad sat in garrison for 15 turns to removes likes humans. The problem i have seen elsewhere as you're increasing the base chance to remove trait by 40%. instead of setting the base chance to 40% if you get what i mean.

Hello my friend! Thanks for making this great mod and sharing it! I have the same problem as t42bug, but with the empire. Franz got the Likes Greenskins, ans I sent him to Altdorf, with the Cathedral do Sigmar, 20 turns in, and the trait didn't go away... could you increase the chances a bit more? Even the Temple of Ulric with the 50% takes a long time to remove a bad trait... imagine the Cathedral or even lower... It would be awsome if you could do somethin g on this matter! Thank you very much!

Any chance upping the chances for some factions? I sat Azhag in Black Crag for about fourty turns and saw no change in the single negitive trait he had. 20% is just really abyssmal.

There shouldn't be a problem. Those mods doesn't change anything to buildings afaik.

It's a percentage, so it won't always removed bad traits.
I got around 10 turns to remove bad traits as Bretonnia eventhough its 30% chance.

I have Orion in a city with 2 temples and he doesnt get off bad traits :/
I play with high tier wood elves settlements, more amber when occuping and traits remastered. I dont know if they are compatible or not also :S

Ok I have added praying to Chaos, VC & Beastmen.
I chose the Necromancy building line for VC because it has less value than Vampire Crypt.

Matthias, can you test Chaos' praying effect for me?

The Vampire Crypt might make sense as a place of "prayer", Vampires recoup and heal there, so perhaps you could say the Vampire Lords in question ruminates upon his fears/heals his wounds like missing legs and blinded eyes. Or the Necromancer's tower, as the vampire's cure defects and madness with dark magics. Just an idea from a Vamps fan.

I could add it to both Chaos and Beastmen, however I am not sure it will work.
Praying affects lords that are garrisoned to the settlement, while both of that factions are horde type.

Vampires can get many of the same negative traits as other factions - Harsh, Likes/Fears {Faction}, Lazy, Fearful and so forth. But since your typical vampire lord has a much greater pool of traits to draw from, getting a bad one is marginally less likely even when the same situations keep cropping up.

With the exception of Harsh. Unless you choose to loot&occupy settlements or never dominate captives to recover your health, that'll crop up with alarming frequency. Makes unlocking Ghorst a bit of a RNG nightmare, I tell you...

The vampires are pretty much atheist anyways. They worship themselves. In fact, the god they are supposed to worship. Morr. They absolutely hate him. Nagash main goal is to steal the Winds of Death from him and become the true god of Death.

Fluff wise there is no building lines that are related to religion or Nagash for the Vampires.

Just for curiosity @Geo. Readin the description looks like vampires have bot received a shrine version. You have not done theirs version for a design porpouse (there's not much sense on foul beings praying) or because vampires dont have bad traits to be dealt with. I ask that because since brets patch. While sieging templehof and drakenhof as vlad and isabella doing rebelions and all untill i had streght to expand, I realized both were winning LOTS of traits. But oddly none was bad... im on the 6 or 7th mid campaign so far and i always do this method of provoke rebellions untill i could recruit grave guards that occurs around round 30. Both lords at 17 or 19, 5 to 10 traits each, and im not getting bad traits at all...

But I can use it with kfmogar other mods with no problems though.
