As a retired Soldier, I laughed out loud when I saw this. Thank you so much!

Now I feel dumb for deciding not to build Ellsworth along with Rapid City.

P.S. The baggers may only work for tips, but the stockers earn even less. 25 cents per case stocked. I made more in my first week at McDonalds than I did in six months working at the commissary.

Annnnnnnnd! Just like that, I need to create a military asset and structures collection folder.

No problem Shredra, looking forward to seeing what else you concoct. Ran out of time for the most part these days to do any modeling but maybe I'll get back into some more random military building structures and what not if I can actually get any free time.

Just to chime in as well - 2 programs I've used to model & make assets (both are free) are Blender & GIMP (alternative to Photoshop). Blender has a learning curve, but it's a one stop shop for your modeling, UV unwrapping, and exporting. You can use GIMP instead of PS to edit textures and with a few tweaks can function almost exactly like PS. Check em out. I also made a 8 part tutorial series a year or so ago on how to use Blender and make a very simple asset if you needed extra help.

These are cool. They will go well on my military base.

@MrMiyagi Thanks. Love your work, too.

@joeymozzer Sketchup and 3ds Max are free. Photoshop is not. But Im sure there is an alternative to that.

Cool! Thumbs up and I hit follow - really nice work and hope to see more military buildings! :)

Awesome thanks, so software is free?

@templeofdoom Thanks for adding my stuff to your collection. Love your work. A lot of them found a nice home in my city.

@joeymozzer I had no formal training. I just watched this at first:

If you really want to make an asset, I suggest to start really small as it could be quite challenging at first. But it gets easier as you gain experience.

Then, I highly recommend wathing ronyx69's tutorials on youtube.

These military buildings are awesome, and thank you for your service!

Excellent! I worked as a bagger for a summer in one of these places as a teenager. :) Cool additions to the military assets for the game!

Your work looks great, is it easy? Do you have formal training or self taught?
noobified 19 Apr, 2017 @ 10:17am
Understood thanks
Shredra  [author] 19 Apr, 2017 @ 8:58am
Maybe in the future. I'm still new to 3d modeling, and it is a pretty tedious task to be honest. At this time, I'm only focusing on unique military buildings.

Good idea, I don't have a vase but have shopped at the navy exchange. Any plans to make various stores or maybe this style building w no sign for the store? Could make our own shops too :) thanks
