So I retested this version of the mod, and it works correctly even with warning ignored. I got however a bug in the logs. In Database.log :
[916807.144] [Localization] ERROR: NOT NULL constraint failed: LocalizedText.Language
[916807.144] [Localization]: While executing - 'insert into LocalizedText('Tag', 'Text') values (?, ?);'

Looks awesome. Can you update it for the Sept patch, please. I am not the only one who really appreciate it. Thank you.
Prof_Griz 23 SEP 2019 a las 14:11
I also really enjoyed this mod before the expansions. If you could update it for Gathering Storm with the improved Dam or improved Canal suggestions, that would be awesome. But if you just updated it for the Aqueduct, that would be awesome too.
Nizou 26 AGO 2019 a las 13:59
Yeah please could you update this incredible mod ? I remember when I was playing with it the first months after the game came out :'(
Also, Improved Dam (more possible locations) and Canal (seems not really powerful to me) are cool ideas, i'd like to see them
coloredearth 28 JUN 2019 a las 18:26
Any possibility of making an 'Improved Dam' mod? It's annoying that dams can only be built on flood plains next to a river. they should be able to be built on any river.

Same here, works despite the warning.
I'm only on the last updates wth Rise & Fall tho, I'm not using GS.
Tony老师 30 ABR 2019 a las 20:18

@Shyning
OK it works now : Civ 6 files are in in the "hidden files"
Merci !!
Shyning 7 MAR 2019 a las 9:34
I'm not sure where the files are stored for the Workshop on Mac, a simple search should give you the results.
Then find Civilization (Fireaxis) folder and just search for this file.
agrumapepin 6 MAR 2019 a las 23:45
@Proxima04 and @Shyning
Thanks for your answer. But I don't find where is this file.
I have a Mac. Can you help me ??
Merci !!!!!

Doing what @Horemvore said work, but also make sure to enable the mod
Shyning 27 FEB 2019 a las 14:02
Guys, for GS, please read what Horemvore wrote just below (thanks dude).
agrumapepin 24 FEB 2019 a las 23:56
Hello Butter !
Your mod is one of the best mod in civ6.
I miss it...
Could You update it ?
Thank You very much !!!
Matthias 22 FEB 2019 a las 14:09
Cool mod, hoping for a GS update!
Horemvore 21 FEB 2019 a las 4:24
Mod works apart from the text, ImprovedAqueduct_Text.xml, it is missing the Language="en_US" on the Tag's for Adjacency Yield Changes and Districts. Easy enough to add:-

<Row Tag="LOC_DISTRICT_MOUNTAINS_FOOD1" Language="en_US">

They should all look like this (with the Language tag added). Once edited the mod works like a charm.
rlong9000 20 FEB 2019 a las 15:53
@Butter - Daniel, please COME HOME to Civ 6 and rework this most excellent mod for GS! Your most appreciative fans applaud you!
Jessy2299 19 FEB 2019 a las 12:40
I dont think they will be an update... Sadly, it been a while that the creator of the mod did not show up.
BKGamesPI 19 FEB 2019 a las 7:30
GS update?

Jessy2299 3 FEB 2019 a las 12:36
I think it hardcode and cant be mod... Aqueduct district is pretty unique compare to the other district... so I dont think you can mod the actual restriction.
bbakkom 1 FEB 2019 a las 0:38
Can you tell me a file that specifies the restrictions that an aquduct can build?
I can not find such a phrase when I look for files in district.xml and other installation folders; Other special districts have construction restrictions within district.xml.
kelstonerain 30 ENE 2019 a las 16:40
I like it
Jessy2299 31 DIC 2018 a las 15:41
You want to... You cant put district IN the city, like all district the aqueduct need to be put around the city... And their was and is nothing broken with this mod it work perfecly fine !
coloredearth 31 DIC 2018 a las 14:08
Is there any mod out there that just simply moves the aqueduct to the city center - now that would be great.
coloredearth 25 DIC 2018 a las 21:03
Is this still broken?
Shyning 21 NOV 2018 a las 12:34
Definitely agree with Canela. If this ever gets updated, please revert the change for the Sewers.
Canela 21 NOV 2018 a las 8:21
I like this mod but I still think it's a tad bit too powerful. Also, locking the Sewer to the aqueduct eliminates the possibility to build it anywhere else, making this district almost a necessity.
Shyning 24 SEP 2018 a las 13:03
I wish this mod would get updated D:
It works wonders and solve one of the many problems of this Civ !

pauloel7 19 JUL 2018 a las 20:51
Please update this essential mod?! It's been a while... Planned policies and projects might be good, but I'd suggest fixing the text and working out adjacency output to the tile, instead of the aqueduct itself, unlike industrial zone adjacency. It would make a great adjustment toward reality as young cities don't have the population to work all adjancent tiles at first. That way you could be more condescending with yields, and even consider merging this mod with Hidraulic Mining mod, for adjacency production yields. That way growth spurred by aqueduct output would ramp up more smoothy and go a longer way! Please!?
pauloel7 10 JUL 2018 a las 14:49
... and the ImprovedAqueduct_Gameplay.xml still do not load properly (see my 5 mar comment).
pauloel7 28 JUN 2018 a las 18:19
Is there any chance to overcome the city center adjacency constraint? Not necessarily remove it outright, but flex it a little bit? Problem is that not aways can one place the aqueduct onto its optimum spot because of that requirement, and with this on other synergetic mods, such as Hydraulic Mining, aqueduct adjacency bonuses become pretty key thoroughout the game. Maybe you could devise a city center project that allow placing the aqueduct two or three tiles away form city center? That would be awesome!
Elucidus 22 MAY 2018 a las 12:04
@pointman, perhaps the aqueduct is a bit powerful, but interestingly, Roman aqueducts were protected by law and no agricultural activity was allowed near them in case of damage by ploughing and root growth. On the other hand, agriculture did benefit from aqueducts, as in many cases, run-off channels were created to provide water for land irrigation.
pointman 29 ABR 2018 a las 19:17
Your changes are over-powered. With this mod, an aquaduct is more powerful than any wonder. The purpose of aquaducts was not irrigation, they were meant to bring DRINKING water to the city. The water made foutains, baths, and sewers possible. But, they were not meant for irrigation.

Some of your ideas are very good, but you need to change the bonuses and change the nature of the bonuses back to housing and amenities. I like the tech dependencies and that pops can work as specialists, but I would allow specialialists to produce +1 food, +2 housing and +1 amenity, or something like that. And eliminate the food production and food adjacency bonuses all together. Only produce food with specialists
Jarms 15 ABR 2018 a las 22:48
I'd probably change the adjacency bonuses to:
- +1 food for every adjacent River, Oasis, Mountain, and Lake tile.
- +0.5 food for every adjacent Farm.

I would also reduce specialists to:
- +2 Food.

Trade Routes I would also reduce to:
- +1 Food.

I'm not sure about the Water Filtration Plant, it sounds fairly powerful. I'd probably change it to:
- +2 Housing
- +4 Food
- +1 Great Scientist Point.

At current your Aqueduct provides more resources to a single city than the Industrial Zone. It also provides more Housing than a Neighbourhood, in addition to also giving Amenities. Also, does this Aqueduct still provide Fresh Water, when none is available? Also, what have you done with the Roman Bath?
Jessy2299 7 ABR 2018 a las 15:45
And we have the technologie today to purifie ocean water... Though it expensif
Jessy2299 7 ABR 2018 a las 15:44
Yeah water is salty at first but is purifying by the sun during it way to the city... UV are enough stronger to purifie water you know.
Saltycaptain 7 ABR 2018 a las 7:14
...So the city's population can drink saltwater?
Jessy2299 19 MAR 2018 a las 18:19
Would be nice if we could connect aqueduct to ocean ...
pauloel7 6 MAR 2018 a las 16:41
One question: Cities that cannot build an aqueduct will be negated the sewer as well? Can you make so that sewer can be built without an aqueduct for those cases? Please?
pauloel7 5 MAR 2018 a las 11:18
Also, got a XML error in modding.log - might worth an update?

Just ran into this mod... while dealing with other aqueduct related mods, thus have to ask whether compatible with: 1. Housing and Amenity Adjustments; 2. Hydraulic Mining; 3.Improved Sewers; and 4. Building - Desalination Plant?
Proxima04 17 FEB 2018 a las 16:32
Seem to conflict with updated mode like resourfull??
Taliesyn 10 FEB 2018 a las 7:54
Works perfectly for me in RaF.
