i like this mod but all the weapons do so little damage and the health is so low I rarely use it since every default faction can wipe the floor with these guys. Could you give them a buff?

Hmm... now that I know how to make units play a sound when selected or ordered via pie menu, maybe I should take lines from the games for them to speak. I'm updating all of my fallout factions now so I might as well.

Sure. I'm actually in the process of updating all my mods so they use a framework that will make further updates or new factions a lot easier for me. Part of the new framework is a file shared by all of my factions called Ammo.ini that contains base rounds used by almost all weapons. The new one uses different stats, which are generally stronger than the previous ones.

Chiko, your mods are fantastic. But i feel that assault rifles from your Fallout mods are feeling a bit weak. Can you bump them a bit, so they can compete with vanilla weapons?

Fantastic mod, though some of the weapons seem a little underpowered (namely the .308 rifle) and I think a few key weapons are missing (minigun, anti-material rifle, ranger seqouia). Also, I think a vertibird would work great as a dropship. .357 cowboy repeater rifles are also completely missing, along with brush guns. Otherwise, this is a extraordinary mod that fits the theme of the faction perfectly.

I just googled that software and it's pretty cool. I'm too used to my usual program, though. It's really hard for me to swap tools even if they are better. :P

I use a really old software called corel paint shop pro. I used to use an even older one called paint shop pro 6 which worked just the same. It's kinda similar to Gimp, just older.

What program did you use to make the sprites? Ive tried MS Paint, paint.net , and Gimp, but they allways mess up the colors and change them from what I picked from the pallette

They are in the list of factions to eventually make.

Also, I've been getting messages about power armor units being too weak compared to what they should be in the Fallout games. I could make them stronger but I could also add penalties... like the inability to go prone and add a weak spot at the back. The weakspot would be the fusion core slot, which will cause an explosion when damaged. If the unit survives the explosion, they should be unable to use the jetpack.

Well I look forward to their updates, do you think you could give them the auto loadouts maybe? Like, when they spawn with a gun and some other stuff instead of nothing?

It's pretty fun, definately try it atleast once. Regarding compatibility, I don't know either, though I'm sure you could always just ask weegee how to do it if you wanted to, either way I'll continue to play around with your mods, especially the GWTB guys, I love the planes.

Thanks! I'm working on Capital Wasteland Raiders now but I'll add Powder Gangers to the list too. Fiends and Gunners are already in the list.

Also, I kinda want to start making factions from other games so I'll temporarily stop with fallout factions after I finish with this one.

Nicely done. They are pretty detailed. I usually like to keep my mod content closer to how vanilla sprites look, but these are pretty cool looking.

I'd like them but I will probably not include them right away since it would be kinda weird to have the rest of the guns looking different. I have little free time but I could edit the rest of the guns to match the style of yours, eventually.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I was so annoyed when my Brown-light wasn't sniping. I wish each faction had a sniper unit, though. Then again, I guess it would take away one of the Ronin's best advantages...

Yep. There's a code in the AI files that makes actors more "sharp" when they are in the snipers or brains category. It's not that they have longer aim, they are more alert and use all of the aiming range available to them. I'm using this same system for the units. It's kinda like the fallout perk system. You add the units in a category and they get the abilities specified in the lua files.

I noticed something in the base game. The Browncoat light has 32 aim distance, while the ronin sniper has 30. However, the Ronin has a longer aim distance. I've tested both with both of their snipers, and the ronin would always shoot farther. Is it because he is in the 'sniper' category? Does being in a category (eg. Gunslinger, like the Ranger) give you specializations from the category?

Oh, also, a recommendation.
Each of your factions should be renamed 'Fallout - (faction)' so that in the mod manager, one could disable/enable them all easier, without having to look for them. Same with your other mods, since they're based off games, put the game title first.

Sure, I can add those weapons for them. Also, I'm not sure but I think Caesar's Legion also uses that rifle, if I'm not mistaken. I could allow them to use it but it should probably cost more money for them.

I have no days off this week so it'll be till the next weekend before I can get more time to do some real work on the mods. I'm still working on them whenever I get time, though.

Are you going to add weapons like the 5mm Carbine for the NCR? I noticed they don't have any rapid fire cqc weapon. Also, the Service Rifle is a bit underpowered, it's fire rate is kinda slow, compared to normal Fallout.

@Ghost993514: Well, lua is kinda hard but most of the modding in this game is with ini files. I usually just copy vanilla files and just edit the values and sprites. I only use lua for the more advanced stuff.

@Dr. Kaiser: Raiders are actually in the list of things to add. I haven't started making the next faction so I guess I could make a Raider faction next instead. Capital Wasteland Raiders, maybe.
