For the upgraded resource buildings you could port them to make them upgrades to the "processing" buildings. Like make the energy building basically be a better version of the energy nexus and upgrade from that.

Idk about the other buildings cause idk what they do but from what ive seen it isnt to difficult to port old buildings to the new system. The main problem is figuring out how to port them in a way that fits to what you want them to be :LotusFlower:

It turns out to be modding is very hard when I am confined with a crappy laptop while lying on a bed.

Well, but from I've been playing, I am not even sure how can I even 'port' this mod into a new system. I may force to abandon this mod but we will see.

Glavius's ultimate AI megamod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1140543652 is incompatible with this mod due to changing all the buildings.

Build upgraded seems like the most likely, I've got that enabled rn as well, I'll disable it and let you know what I find.

Might be abit late
but the reason why it wasn't showing up for me is that it seems like this mod conflicts with either buildable ancient buildings or build upgraded 2.0

@=BA= Sir Ash Respecter Of Wamans : Several possibilities.

1.) Other mod conflict.
2.) Steamworkshop/Stellaris Launcher has nasty habit of still loading mods that are NOT selected. Try delete the ethos building mod (or unsubscribe, but if that is glitched, most likely Steam workshop won't properly delete ethos building mod thus still being loaded to the game. You have to manually delete the folder) and see if that solves the problem.

So I dunno why but I can research the new buildings but I can't build any of them, they don't appear in the build list or the upgrade panel, any ideas?

@Sithalo : Yes, things seem have changed. Last time I checked (it was rather a long time ago) the game immediately gave me CTD when I used one of my mods and Alpha mod. They really never played nice for me.

@Snuggles Alpha mod (at least 2.0) doesnt actually cause as much an issue as Will makes it sound. At one point maybe it was a little more extream but now its much much more modular for compatibility I think.

From alphas page:

"AlphaMod is primarily an expansion but also part overhaul, part total conversion. That means that it does change a few vanilla files and will therefore have compatibility issues with mods that also change those files. The files changed are:
common/pop_faction_types/* (<- All of them) (TEMPORARILY RESET TO VANILLA)
common/tile_blockers/00_tile_blockers.txt
common/traits/01_species_traits_habitability.txt
The types of mods that will usually have compatibility issues are those that change or add planet classes and their habitabilities, or change vanilla factions in some way."

So it shouldnt really have any conflicts with this at all :LotusFlower:

@Will - Well I use a whole mess of mods including your ship components/weapons with Alphamod without too much issue. It is sad to hear that these two don't play nice together though.

Hmm, if you use Alpha mod, basically you are stuck with that mod ONLY. It is like literally incompatible with almost everything else except AlphaAsh's other mods I believe.

This mod does not overwrite the 00_buildings file but it does overwrite a few of the buildings inside of it. Im guessing its a conflict with EUTB since it does completely overwrite the building file for reasons.

You should be able to build most of the other buildings in the mod just not the ones that are direct upgrades of standard sterllaris buildings.

I can try to make a patch later that removes the conflicting bits from EUTB 00_building file :LotusFlower:

I cant build/upgrade into any of the buildings in this mod, not sure why, maybe the 00_buildings overwrite? not sure if this mod even overwrites that (i assume it does since it handles buildings)
I am trying to get the lighthouse of hope to work

for some odd reason, i can never get this mod to work
i am 100% sure it is caused by a mod conflict, but i cant seem to track down which (anyone else knows which mod this one might conflict with?)
my prime suspects are unique ethos buildings and techs or alpha mod but i sort of need those 2
any way i can get a compability patch?

Just let you know Peacekeeper army has been removed. More I look at the codings and new limitations (Paradox removed A LOT of modifiers and conditions), it seems I need to make a special buildings for Peacekeepr army to be spawned.

@Clockwork The Painfully Ok, are u playing a machine empire? Level 5+ upgrades lack the regular machine capital allowance. I made a patch to fix that (Patch) Advanced Buildings & Armies Fix . But if you are not then it is likely due to a mod conflict.

@Will pick sniper, I see the mod hasnt been updated for a while, got time to fix it sometime soon? If not that is ok. Mods of mods exist for a reason lol :LotusFlower:

For some reason, i am unable to build any of the t6-8 building, after t5 there are no upgrades, any idea why?

machine empires are not able to use level 5+ buildings because the files in here lack the machine capital allowance.

ive tried to fix it but it the regular file in the mod replaces the version that works apperntly.

only ones i can think that do anything remotely near the mentioned structures is steller expansion by king lemming and one called ethos unique tech and buildings, methinks i should take a closer look at these mods

@majna Nothing specific at the moment, it would probably be anything that makes major changes to the way buildings work and not just simply adding more buildings.

Glavius's Ultimate AI Megamod is incompatible with this mod, for me it was the cause of being unable to upgrade resource buildings past level 5.

well nope, the resource buildings can be upgraded only so far before they keep telling me i need a planetary capital, while im pretty sure the planetary nexus is the machine equivelent, i keep thinking im overlooking something here but im not sure what?

is this mod meant to be compatible with the machines in synthetic dawn its just more than once ive found that it wont allow me to upgrade a because it says i need a planetary capital but i have a planetary nexus? (the machine equivelent) if this is just a corrupted download then okay, ill post if unsub and resubing fixes it... (will post an update either way fixed or not fixed)

@silver111 I know that the current version of Zenith of the Fallen Empires is making it so that you upgrade the level 5 buildings into its level 6's. Zenith's buildings would have to be modded to allow them to upgrade into this mod's level 7s, or this mod's level 6s would have to take priority.

I believe these unable to upgrade is related to conflict with other mods. I know the list is going to be big, but if you can list them, I can tell you which one is causing trouble.

@Will pick sniper : Gosh, I completely forgot to bind Wonder Maiden into one of that ascension perk.

I will fix this when I have access to my main computer. Hopefully soon. Thank you.
