- The unit is now called Dwarf Mercenary instead of just "Dwarf"
- Armour increased by +5
- Now the unit is available to the Dwarfs and Clan Angrund (tavern level 2)
As a fan of the lore, I really hate them having a good chance of stomping all over the Greenskins. They are supposed to be a doomed and dwindling race, albeit with very strong defenses.
A -25% income and growth penalty ought to do the trick.
Or some way to make them less aggressive, like the Wood Elves. Pls.
When many races are on the battlefield the sound sometimes disappears. If you try to play a few custom battles 3vs3 with 6 different races (without any of my adventures) the same thing may happen.
I will try to find a way to fix it by changing the audio files.
Unless you have mods that are uploaded by you and are only in private view. In this case, yeah you'll have to tell me what each mod does...
This, the Elf mod, and the Barbarian mod, all conflict with one of the other mods I have enabled though I don't understand why.
If it helps, I can give you a rundown on the mods I have currently enabled. It just doesn't make sense >.>
For SFO I believe only the hitpoints may be off (either high or low).
Is it more or less ok?
Oh and thanks for sharing your work mate !
I guess it's a bug. Is it like this all the time or it happened just once?

-Blood Axes: Orc mercs who fight for the Empire and use Imperial gear, advanced tactics, and firearms. Hated by all other orcs, can't ally with any greenskins or beast people.
-Karak Zorn Dwarfs: African Mali type dwarfs from the Southlands.
-Female Orcs: just green trailer trash really, but too fun to not be around. Maybe cheerleaders, or just cause stat buffs by screaming and shouting and throwing stuff.
-Diggaz: Empire humans who dress and act like orcs, sound like them, and ally with them.

Some isnt loreful or whatever, but its fun!
As for the "monstrosities", I had this idea to create mutants/experiments by necromancers, but the animations when you add various parts just don't work and either crash the game or make the unit look downright awful.
I get you though. What if there were mercs anybody could hire? Like Hobgoblins, dwarf raiders, and humans who just dont care?
For starters, we can't mix models of various races, because with the way the editor works, instead of soldiers we would get monstrosities with goblin heads, human torsos and dwarf legs. :P
Also, it would be very difficult to retexture humans to look like orcs (at least for me, other modders may be more skillful).
@WolfKing I had this request before by some people. I suppose I could add a few elf or dwarf regiments to human factions, but my modding time is limited atm, so don't expect it anytime soon :(
