update for 1.6 plz :<
RamenFuneral 5 Jul @ 2:20pm
Is this still working for 1.6?
submeg 13 Jun @ 9:39pm
@TheDirge - no they didn't. It's spelt differently around the world.
Ketjak 24 Apr @ 12:38pm
This should be "temperature" map - a heat map shows where something happens a lot, like pawn visits/traffic patterns.
§tronkus Bonku§ 7 Apr @ 9:27am
@TheDirge Believe it or not, not everyone is American... we don't all spell colour like that.
TheDirge 4 Apr @ 12:07am
You misspelled 'color'.

Tyvm for the version bump!
Shikoi Kurogami 2 Aug, 2024 @ 8:51pm
There's a little weirdness where if you enable multiple settlements, the heat map will show the temperatures from the map you loaded on first, but color the rooms for the map you're on.

Updated to 1.5 for anyone still using this one
Purple Nebula 4 Aug, 2023 @ 1:46pm
Read the comments people: Syrus posted a link to the "(Continued)" release of Heat Map, 6th comment below this one.
Raider1 24 Jun, 2023 @ 10:57am
please update this
Crunch 10 Jun, 2023 @ 4:07pm
Slept in the heat applies at 27 C. for baseliner colonists with no genetic traits, I believe that clothing does not affect the "Slept in the Heat"/"Slept in the Cold" moodlet
Trojan 9 Jun, 2023 @ 6:13pm
SirFluffy cat, yes but its pretty weak compared to this mod. I Just did a big "mod reset" and removed everything. I figured if I was playing and missed enough to quite out and hunt down I mod it was worth having.

So here I am reinstalling this mod ( Heat Map Continued) after a mental break due to "sleeping in the heat" in rooms that are solidly green with base game heat map.
NoNameWorks 4 Jun, 2023 @ 4:28am
It's a shittier version that just shows colors, not the temp itself on top of it. Still good, but the temp overlay was nice to have.
Jeffery Helldiver 11 May, 2023 @ 3:06pm
Isn't the heat map already in 1.4? (responding to the two comments below).

Guilty Spark 8 Jan, 2023 @ 2:31am
Need 1.4, por favor. :)
zoogies 15 Dec, 2022 @ 7:34pm
this mod is so much better than the vanilla rip off because you still have to look at the number to see the exact temp unlike this mod that overlays it on the actual room. wish this had official 1.4 port
DaThompi 2 Dec, 2022 @ 11:20am
Never forget the chad who made this mod before they added it. Thanks

sindri42 13 Nov, 2022 @ 5:36pm
The current version functions in 1.4. You will get two different thermometer buttons in the bottom right, one from this mod and one from the vanilla game, but if you only activate one at a time they don't interfere with each other at all so you can simply ignore the one included in the base game and continue using this mod as if you were playing 1.3.
Eukor 13 Nov, 2022 @ 4:13pm
dios qué buen mod cómo es que no es algo por defecto? por favor traiganlo a la 1.4
JessieFeathers 12 Nov, 2022 @ 12:47pm
1.4?
Jordan Davis 8 Nov, 2022 @ 12:22am
@mod Maker its funny how they tried to add this but who ever on their team was supposed to add it failed they did a great job on the dlc but failed on this feature some how
Kowhaifan 7 Nov, 2022 @ 12:26am
this mod is still better than the ingame one.
Genaeve 6 Nov, 2022 @ 10:55pm
@ZippoMoon Thank you
sykoe 3 Nov, 2022 @ 3:26am
need this mod back
BlueScreen-ISU 2 Nov, 2022 @ 6:03am
I also dislike the out of the box 1.4 map.
Your was/is better :)
Looking forward to 1.4 mod update.
fireglow 1 Nov, 2022 @ 9:23pm
I miss the widget in the corner of the screen that displays the current outside temperature
himedo15 1 Nov, 2022 @ 4:33pm
How did the devs rip your mod but forget to add the the actual temperature lmao
Ren 31 Oct, 2022 @ 6:44pm
Nobody stole anything, the devs have made it clear a few times that they reserve the right to use part, or all, of a mod creators code and by extension their mod ideas in their base game @mkdr Can be a compliment/relief for some, one less thing to maintain or develop not to mention never have to worry about compatibility.
mkdr 31 Oct, 2022 @ 5:10pm
please update for 1.4. the dev stole your idea but totally ruined it by not adding temperaure readings in the room.
Syrus  [author] 31 Oct, 2022 @ 3:20pm
Well, it can be used as is, just will have two different temperature overlays available.
Once falconne approves and pushes my update there'll be an integrated 1.4 version which properly replaces the vanilla overlay with Heat Map's overlay. Should just be a bit more efficient, that's all.
gusgody 31 Oct, 2022 @ 2:59pm
todavia no entiendo como no es parte del juego y pusieron algo mucho mas basico y que no sirve (dudo que alguien lo quiera usar antes que ese mod)
MedicMain 31 Oct, 2022 @ 3:21am
Like sindri42 has said, this mod functions in 1.4 even without an update. So much better than base game heat map.
A Tea Daze 30 Oct, 2022 @ 9:44am
This mod is still better than the heat map they added. I'm glad they added this QoL feature but the vanilla one only shows you if it's too cold or too hot. It's worth updating to 1.4 if you're worried the update made this mod redundant (it didn't)
Kowhaifan 30 Oct, 2022 @ 1:56am
on god this mod is 10 times better than the official heatmap
sindri42 28 Oct, 2022 @ 9:09pm
I'm pretty sure this still works as is if you ignore the warnings. I've been running it on 1.4 for a while with no issues, you just get two different temperature overlay buttons, one for this mod and one for the new vanilla feature (and this version is definitely superior to the one added to the base game)
megge 28 Oct, 2022 @ 10:41am
I'd prefer this mod over the vanilla implementation. In this mod you could see the actual temperature without the need to hover over the area. In combination with the bad coloring scheme in vanilla (I call it "50 shades of green"), the vanilla implementation makes it harder to see critical differences in temperature than this mod did. In this mod it was clear where it was warm enough and were it was too cold to be comfortable.
Codingale 28 Oct, 2022 @ 5:49am
I prefer this one because it's a large button for me to see at a glance lol
Bubbles 27 Oct, 2022 @ 7:58am
this does work in 1.4 just fine.

I prefer to use this over the built in one because of the massive difference in colors. I have a hard time withe the new one, plus this one has the actual numbers in each room so in case I still can't tell the difference.
L 25 Oct, 2022 @ 11:14pm
update?
Syrus  [author] 24 Oct, 2022 @ 3:04pm
Eh, won't look different. Just going to override the existing heat map.

But I also wanted to add some customization options for the colors, maybe it helps colorblind people. That part is taking a bit longer to make work than I thought. Will need to see whether falconne is fine with it though first... :p
