Mods to hope for.
this is just a place to talk about mods you hope to see in the future, for me I am hoping to see a proper Halo mod with fleets such as the unsc, covenant, flood, banished, and forunners with weapons and ship designs similar to what they would actually have

It sounds like something I'd like to work on, but unfortunately I know little to nothing about halo :\.

Also a melee teleporting factions would be cool.

well if you want I can help with the halo stuff, I am kinda a big nerd when it comes to halo and I pay a lot of attention to their ships and arments.

I'd love a mod about the khaak from the x series.
Truely a menacing enemie.

They focused on super powered lasers and numbers.

this is a khaak cluster basicly 60 ships but most wont learn that til they hit it and it breaks into all it's smaller ships but while small and somewhat fragile they had lasers of unbelieveable power.

this is a khaak mothership super powerful ships, has thousends of smaller ships onboard and lasers that can 1 shot a capital ship.

finaly the khaak guardian,
their ultiment ship that protects their leaders,
it's shields can withstand being hit by a planet and it's laser puts the deathstar to shame.

in all space games i'v played this was the only enemie i feared as even after wasting afew days profits from my factorys and mines to hire capital ships and build a large laser defence satalite network to guard my buildings i learnt the truth,
it's not if the khaak win it's when,
wave after wave assaulted my sector for 6 hours til my defence finaly collapsed under their lasers.

Of course that was in x2: the threat.
the best of the series if you ask me.


To see them in this game would be amazing :3

@mr-f.e it was amazing,
sadly tho the newer games had more stuff and improved graphics but alot of the core features like the khaar swarms were removed and the control system was made far more difficult,
i'm told you can invade the khaar sectors but it's no fun if they are not the force of nature they were when they were introduced in x2.

though all honesty the way you described the khaar makes me think they would be extremely weak to numbers of smaller ships seeing how they are more of a power house faction, also the clusters are very much possible since the borg in the altered vanilla share a similar system of being made of multiple cores.

Also yeah khaak clusters are more firepower + numbers with minimal hull/shield.

the motherships are overwelming firepower + releases swarms + heavy shield/hull.
The guardian was nearly unbeatable but only 1 existed.

Been awhile since i played x2 but it's still in my top 5 games despite how afew features havent aged well.

actually the borg are one of the original factions, they are the white ones to be more specific.

@mr.f.e yeah it does the unique ships.
only 1 of them can exist at a time and they normaly break all the cost rules.

One spawned near my base earlier it cost 29,000p ran away second i saw it.

id like to see a mod that scales the ai's "aggro" range depending on the size of the ship theyre controling, i made a massive ship that is so big, the enemy ship has to practically touch it to make it go aggro.
