Modding guides?
There's a location ron.heavengames.com for modding guides, but half or more of these links are dead. Is there somewhere I can look for guides that are not dead?

While not a direct solution to your question, you can use https://archive.org/web/ to read some of the ones that are dead. E.g. https://web.archive.org/web/20081015231256/https://www.faunlore.org/rare_resources.html
