How to make your RON Mod appear in Steam Workshop?

Hi.

Would like to get some insights on how to make a Rise of Nations mod appear in Steam Workshop.

I'm creating a mod and I initially placed it in Rise of Nations Steam folder inside the Mods folder. I do not see a dropdown that makes my mod appear in Rise of Nations game. Any ideas from those who've had the experience uploading their mods via the Steam Workshop?

To make it appear on the Steam Workshop you need to publish your mod. There's an option to do in the game: main menu -> Tools & Extras -> Steam Workshop.

If you also want to make it a "dropdown" mod (can select from the game lobby instead of via the Workshop interface) you'll need to add an appropriately configured info.xml file to the mod.
