How can I make portals and connect them in the level editor

In order to make my level dimension runner I going to need to know how to work portals dies anyone have advice.

Portals are found under the "other" tab of props in the level editor. Once placed they are connected to each other by clicking the "edit logic" tab, selecting the first portal, clicking T and then clicking the second portal to create a connection line between them. They work similar to pathing points
