In-Game Character Textures Needed

I cannot figure out how people on the workshop are able to access character textures other than the example textures. I was wondering if anyone had a folder of some sorts that contained these textures, or could tell me how to access these other textures.

Also yes, I know Ocean Man has a guide on how to do this, but I cannot get that to work for some reason.

That's not what I'm asking for. I mean when creating custom textures, how to get textures other than the example textures.

All of the game's textures can be extracted from the game's files using the right tools (the game's file structuring has changed since Ocean Man's guide so that no longer works.) I have the folder with all of the character textures if you need it, I can send it through steam messages.
