Like in Rainbow Six 3. Where you use the scroll wheel to slowly open the door. This allows a breacher placed on the handle side of the door to be concealed while his buddy on the other side can peek inside.

Another idea would be to slowly swing the door open with 1 motion when hand opening it. A mod that just slows down the animation speed would work great. This would give the breacher on the handle side enough time to raise his weapon or take a step back while being concealed by the door.
