Report a translation problem
Here is the translation (Google Translate) of the terms of use from the original japanese author:
Source: http://xrxs.at-ninja.jp/about.htm
Based on the CC license alone you can use the script in a commercial project but just to be sure you have to contact the original author. This is the reason why I still can't decide to use XAS on my commercial project because there is no way to contact the author, no email on their japanese site.
EDIT: Fixed formatting.
I was hoping someone knows how to contact the author or make a translation that might be more specific than the above. :/
From his part, Moghunter wants only to credit him (fair enough) if used,
but mostly important, neither he or anyone else could contact Xiderowng to confirm CC BY or other Licence.
Please note that i talk about the script code, not the resources used in the demos.
That is why i made this thread. I was hoping one of the following two might happen. The first is the most possible of course.
1] If someone knows Japanes, pease give us a good translation on that page (Google translate does NOT).
2] If someone knows by coincidence Xiderowng, please ask him about the topic or better yet ask him to reply to us, on his webpage, if we can use his work under CC BY 3 or other kind of licence.
Pardon me for this bump.
But seriously XAS lloks pretty. It would be a shame to re invent the wheel,
if the author can give it under CC BY 3.
Asking to give me his personal info does not sound like a good idea at all, don't you think? :P
Sorry you got me wrong here.
I was refering to at-ninja.jp. I kindly asked for a proper translation of the terms (works for me)
I think this is enough to declare the script free to use in general on any game.
Of course some of the resources used, are rips so there must be substituted with legit ones.
That is the only problem i can spot.
Otherwise, script seems ok.
Correct me if i am wrong.
