well......guess this is the end for me. Unless i get help... RE2
So long story short, spent about 100 hours getting the mats i needed for the HERO V2 ship. It gets damaged in a fight, which i understands happens. So i get the mats needed to fix it. i bring it to the repair bay of the satellite base i had. i try to repair it. It takes the mats.......but then it spawns another ship (the same one) like 100 yards ABOVE my current ship. The top ship is fixed (kinda, took a ♥♥♥♥ ton of CPU away) and the bottom one is not.

However, a few things. BOTH SHIPS FLY AT THE SAME TIME and count as 1 SHIP. Ill enter one ship and leave and ill be in the other one. ALSO Its impossible to fly as you cant seen anything as the view is between BOTH ships and it just shows space and you cant even eye ball it . AND to top it all off, it took over 500,000 CPU away so i cant even fly it regardless with causing damage. I have no flippin clue what to do.

If you have an earlier save, restart with it. Sounds like your save is too bugged to continue.

This is a common issue in multiplayer when using the repair bay.
This exact bug happens daily on the HWS servers and has been reported to the Empyrion devs multiple times (I believe they have it marked as unable to reproduce though).

Unfortunately the only thing you can really do to fix it is to destroy the vessel and respawn a new copy of it from blueprint.
Make sure you empty all cargo, ammo, etc before you destroy the original.

Your servers save isn't broken. It's that structure that is broken due to the repair bay.
Yup spawn a new ship using console commands, move all your stuff over, and delete the old one.
Make sure to save a repair template AFTER spawning it, as that might help prevent this bug in the future, maybe.

That is presuming you have admin rights on the server you're playing on, otherwise even trying to use most console commands is a good way to be banned from the server. If you are playing on someone else's server, see if they have a ticket system or Discord to ask for assistance. And as Ravien stated, make sure you unload everything from the ship first.

Can you salvage the blocks off one of the "ships" and fix the view issue?
Otherwise if you don't have powers for console you can drop the salvaged blocks straight into the factory and spawn a new version

i ended up salvaging both and got double amount of resources.........

Lol bonus! Sometimes bugs/errors turns out to be a blessing in disguise haha. I've had a situation on a server where my character got wiped but all my assets remained in game. Admin restored my level and assets, but since my character got wiped, all my quests reset too. So I went about doing the survey quests again and got the nav data again. :D
