Notepad++ is pretty standard for writing raws, a improvement on bog-standard notepad which has language modules which can syntax highlight to DF tokens, wheras VSC visual studio code is better for analysing and comparing your work, with the ability to scrutinise two seperate files directly and also searchbar a file or a folder for essential key words.
