I want my wood furniture and structures to all match/mesh aesthetically. (I really like cherry beds with chestnut doors when those woods are both available). I can easily do this by assigning the work orders specific wood types, and I do have it set up like that.

But, I don't want to waste my chopping dwarf's time, letting them chop down trees that I won't use except to turn into ash and charcoal when I eventually get my furnaces set up. Nor do I want the undesirable logs laying around my fort gumming up space and looking ugly.

BUT, even more than that I don't want to have to spend the time individually identifying cherry and chestnut trees and manually designating each of those trees for cutting for.

What I would like, is something similar to the auto-mine option that lets you click and drag over a box and have a set options, but programmable so you can set the types of trees you want it to designate or ignore.
