Is there something to make large soldier rosters more organized?

It is difficult for me to organize a roster of 60-70 soldiers into orderly groups. The easy answer is to use less soldiers but I kind of need most of them because I get so many missions to do.

I see in the screenshot one of the teams has 8 soldiers, but the missions only allow 4 people to be selected. Which of the 8 soldiers will get assigned to the mission?

There is something I want to tweak about the squad manager mod. When I go into squad management on the avenger it lets me assign unlimited soldiers to a team and that is actually a good thing for me because I think dividing my 70 soldiers into 4 subgroups would make it much more manageable.

Example: I have team cobra kai and they have 10 soldiers in them. What I want is to pick which of the 10 I want to send onto a mission, but it seems like the game will just assign the soldiers 1-6 automatically meaning I have to manually put 4 of cobra kai into the unassigned soldiers list. Does it have to be this way? I just want to put cobra kai soldiers into the mission.
