Habitat AI colonisation fix

I 1 samling av OldEnt

Beskrivning
Colonises habitats AI is unable to.

This mod addresses a long-standing bug of AI being unable to colonise its own habitats. It will check annually for an uncolonised Orbital Habitat, Ring World section, Planetary Habitat, Dyson Swarm habitat or Planetary Station and start colonisation process for the empire if it has resources needed to pay colony ship costs (varies between empire types).

Is this still necessary for 3.14.159?

AzoorFox - No update is needed. Your launcher just gives you warning because the number of this mods version is different from the version of the game. The content of the mod is still functional, because Stellaris hasn't updated or overwritten their own content regarding AI habitat preferences.
In layman terms - do you buy a new car because you need a new license plate? The car is the content, the license plate is the version. The author only needs to open the text file and write 2 different numbers. Nothing will change in the end.

This does not need an update AFAIK.

UPDATE WHEN?????
Taipan 20 mar, 2023 @ 13:44
Nope, it's not, this is not a fix, it's a preference, overwriting AI behavior which is designed to work depending on difficulty levels, resources, etc.

Is this still needed? AI still dum dum? Thanks.

I forgot to mention, thanks for this mod! I have been reluctant to use the Real Space - Planetary Stations mod since the AI didn't know how to effectively use them, but now will be giving the mod a try thanks to your efforts. :steamhappy:

The launcher isn't broken, the mod info just hasn't been updated showing it's compatible with the current Stellaris version. It's a little tiresome and ends up requiring the mod being re-downloaded by every subscriber, but insures everyone knows what version it's compatible with. A lot of mods do this, but it's a choice of the mod owner/creator/maintainer whether they take time to do this.

It helps remove confusion from the player base, who might not be as savvy with modding Stellaris, whether a mod is compatible with the current version of Stellaris.

I update the mod info, after verifying nothing needs to be changed, for my small custom race mods after every Stellaris update.

There is no wrong or right way to this, just a choice.

There is no update needed because nothing has changed in the mod between versions. Warning in the launcher is meaningless, even if it is broken.

WDYM? IT CLEARLY SAYS "MOD IS MADE FOR ANOTHER VERSION OF THIS GAME" SO A UPDATE IS NEEDED.
