Description
Attention!

If you have recently updated the mod and experience errors such as unable to join server with the current version and being prompted to download the mod, missing files in console, mod unable to be loaded due to errors and red in mod loader. Then it is highly likely your mod installation is corrupted.

To fix this go to the ingame mod manage and find the mod in the list, right click the mod and select "View Details" and in the mod details page there is a button in the upper right hand corner labelled reinstall. Hit this button and the mod will be reinstalled in both the workshop and staging folder. This should almost any issue you have with the mod.

If that doesn't work you will have to go to usually your C:\ drive and \AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed\(Mod ID) and manually delete the mod from this staging folder that is separate from your workshop mods folder in steam/steamlibary.

It is HIGHLY recomended to install and use Performance Fix by Evil Factory and have it configured while playing BaroTraumatic with these creature mods!


Features

This is my WIP mod to help fix old creature mods that have been abandoned by their creators, improve some creatures from other mods. and this also features my new creatures that I will be adding in on this mod.

After a long debate, we've finally decided to release the Full Creature Pack for our project! This mod combines all creature packs together to make things easier for server hosts and new players.

Installing!

Install the following mods in this order:

Barotraumatic
Barotraumatic Creature Pack

Do Not use any other creature pack or creature modification with this including Let Them All in or Megalaphobia. In the case of Let Them All in the larger and abyss monsters that can partially enter the hull will enter hull spaces but the portions hanging outside the submarine can not be shot as they cannot exist outside and inside at the same time due to a engine limitation.

This mod no longer requires the Improved Huskmod, though it may optionally be added, though it is not supported.

This mod is NOT compatible with any overrides to vanilla creatures or any of the older legacy Barotraumatic packs.

This mod IS compatible Dynamic Europa and should be fine with other similar level overhaul mods like More Level Content

No the spawn list is curated and primarily designed for players experienced with the game either playing close to vanilla or somewhat modded. Nightmare *Exists* but updates trail because its a pain in the ass to update two or more spawn lists.

If you are getting too many attacks try to run quieter more often and ping occasionally, we still reward stealth gameplay and some people complain that stealth makes baro too easy but would riot if there was stuff that was better at detecting the sub while it was doing stealth maneuvers so whatever .

Hard to say exactly how to get the mod up, did you unsubscribe from the mod, delete the mod from both workshop and staging and try to resubscribe to steam and also try validating the game?

I got an update prompt from a modded server i was in, and ever since then the mod disappeared from the mod list despite being in the files as far as i can tell, and every time i try reinstalling it it just enters this endless loop of barotrauma starting download, then installing, then validating, then back to updating
When attempting to download from the prompt when joining the server, the download meter reaches 2%~7% before instantly reaching Installed and then reseting back to downloading
Ive tried most of the help guides already like manually deleting the staging folder to no effect.
Any help?

Wow so not one but two red text spamming bugs squashed, first one was afflictions for hermits were in a staging folder and not in afflictions.xml, second was mudraptor tail was out of index event though it had the same exact index as vanilla, added a tail index ffs.

Husk Rampager (prowler upright) moved to Heavy randomizer from Light

However with yet another hotfix we have TWO new Husk monsters added to the Light Randomizer for husks so will spawn in areas where there are generally husks

PUCS husk is similar to the standard husk but is nearly immune to burn damage and occasionally carries volatile nuclear materials.

Ancient/Old suit Husk is a older style dive rig with pincer clamps using a mix of new and old textures its like a much lighter Exosuit husk, very slow and very durable but not nearly as much as an exosuit, slightly more resistant to burns than a normal husk due to the insulated heavy suit.

Rock creatures with eyes are actually pretty rare spawns on the lists.
Husk Prowler was previously and unknowingly nerfed, next update prowler and rampager will be going to the Heavy spawn list and PUCS husk will be added to the light list as a rare spawn

Some feedback as someone who has reached the Aphotic Plateau in my playthrough:

- The rock creatures with the giant eye are way too common, especially early on, and are a massive nuisance to fight for no good reason. If they just happen to tuck in a way where you cant shoot their eye there's practically nothing you can do about them besides waste a full coilgun ammo box shooting their hard shell. I get that it's supposed to be punishing you for not having armor piercing, but even AP coilgun rounds aren't that much better and these things spawn constantly in the 1st zone with Barotraumatic installed. They should have weaker armor or more versatile weaknesses that don't rely on timing when they do their super janky turnaround animation. This will do a better job of rewarding good aim instead of just punishing you as you wait for them to decide to make themselves vulnerable
