Robotrauma Medical Conversion Tweaked

Description
Currently not updating this atm. I'll probably get back to it but right now I'm over Barotrauma and modding rimworld.
Description
This mod adds all new robotic damage with accompanying descriptions, allows all AI's to repair robotic injuries if they are capable of doing so, returns proper function to medical items that Robotrauma borked AND the medical UI will correctly show how to repair any robotic injury one might get without using any human medicine. So if you don't know how to treat a robotic injury you don't have to refer to the Robotrauma mod page to figure it out!

Important - Powered Version
This mod removes the current implementation of power drain from Robots. My full explanation down below in the Out of Scope changes section.

However, if you wish to have the power drain feature AND all that this mod offers please use this mod here. Robotrauma Medical Conversion Powered
DO NOT USE POWERED WITH TWEAKED AT THE SAME TIME. USE ONE OR THE OTHER.

Patch(es)
There exists a patch for Robotrauma Extended if you use that mod. PLEASE USE MY POWERED CONVERSION MOD for full compatibility. Robotrauma Extended Medical Patch

Recommended Mods and Load Order
I put the Robo-Trauma Afflictions unofficial patch here because I use it to to fill in the gaps of mod added afflictions that shouldn't work against robots. If you didn't know about it. Now you do. However, it isn't actually required for this mod to function at all.

JUST LIKE ROBOTRAUMA, MAKE SURE THIS IS HIGH ON THE LOAD ORDER.
DO NOT RUN THIS WITH ANY OTHER ROBOTRAUMA MEDICAL CONVERSION MOD. IT IS NOT NECESSARY AND WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS.

LOAD ORDER:
(this)
Robotrauma
Robotrauma Medical Conversion Drives Patch
Robo-Trauma Afflictions unofficial patch (optional but highly recommended)

Power Drain Removal
Never comes into any real effect in-game due to its easily remedied nature. Too easy to handle with existing power sources making the mechanic tedious thus why have it at all?

Besides, I hate the current methods of recharging a robot in Robotrauma. An adult size robot recharged on what looks like a pack of AA-Batteries literally bought from a vending machine or recharged using the same battery cells that comes with our flashlights? The ones that only power it for 8 minutes? Maybe more if better quality or if swapped for a fulgurium cell? Gimme a break. That must be the most power efficient robot in all of existence.

Especially if you factor in the fact that a few batteries will do the same job as a literal fuel rod when recharging a robot whilst being basically free compared to using rods that are needed to keep the subs reactor running. [Three standard batteries recharge for 45 vs One fuel rod recharging for 40]. Lastly, for whatever reason it is possible to FAIL inserting the vending machine AA-battery pack resulting in its recharging power [10] to become [5]... because ♥♥♥♥ you if you are desperate enough to somehow need these... apparently.

If I ever decide to bring back the power drain functionality in a future update and I am not saying that I will, I'm building it from the ground up. A small power dock for robots that they have to click or stand near to charge power like whats done IRL. Put em near where NPCs on the sub frequent and have the power drain not be so severe that you have to lug around batteries all the time. BUT if you get low it should be an indicator to head back to the sub and go into a power dock. Not to pull out and drain a pack of AA-Batteries or a Battery cell like it's a carprisun.

---------------------------OVERRIDE LIST----------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
  • Human.XML - New hidden affliction, responsible for transforming received "Human" damage into "Robot" damage.

  • Medical.XML - All Robotrauma overrides have been... overridden. Super elegant modification I know but it will fix all AI issues.

Sadly the mod Literally Vaporizes you and makes bots EXTREMELY sensitive to damage by centralizing all of it on the torso, and making the damage extremely high. and yea i understand the mod is (Temporarily) Abandoned. The ballast flora and fire literally just.. Instant kill ya. Hope you enjoy modding Rimworld!

My EK patch however seems to be working just fine which is confusing

Am noticing an issue and I'm not sure of it's just robotrauma itself, or this very patch, for some reason the welder is not appearing on the medical menu even though the useinhealthinterface function is set to true

could you make a patch that allows robots to use diving suits without taking damage ? I feel like its a worthless mechanic that only serves to fuck over ai since people are already incentivised to go after exo suits
