Description
This mod can be installed mid-game.
All features can be enabled/disabled anytime and only affect players.
If you encountered any problems, please read the FAQs below first before reporting.

Intervene Domestic Private Investment
  1. Private constructions are only allowed to expand existing buildings. This feature can be enabled separately for manufacture, agriculture, resource and infrastructure buildings.

  2. Private constructions are only allowed to expand existing profitable buildings (image 3).

  3. Private constructions are only allowed in incorporated states.

  4. Disable private constructions in a state by using a new decree.

  5. Customize the building types that can be built by private constructions.
    Important: This feature was removed due to the introduction of state monopoly in 1.9.
    If you want to keep this feature please subscribe this Addon.

Intervene Foreign Private Investment
  • Disable private investment in foreign countries. This feature can be enabled separately for manufacture, agriculture, resource and infrastructure buildings.

Intervene Investment From Foreign Countries
  • Investment (both government and private) from foreign countries are only allowed to expand existing buildings. It can be enabled separately for industry and agriculture. Note that for game balance, this will cost 5% to 10% of player's bureaucracy and resource buildings won't be restricted.

Constructions And Privatization
  • Since game version 1.9, restrictions no longer affect privatization, which means existing buildings can still be privatized despite the restrictions.

Better Auto-Expand
  • Better conditions based on PMs, profit, price, etc (image 5 and 6).

How To Use
  1. Subscribe the mod.
  2. Use the decision "Private Constructions Management".
  3. A journal entry to toggle the features will appear after the decision was taken.
  4. Before uninstalling the mod mid-game, please switch all options back to default.

Localization
  • English, Chinese, German.
    Other languages use English text.

Compatibility
  • Mods that modify vanilla building scripts (...\common\buildings) are likely incompatible.
  • Mods that add/remove PM groups are incompatible, e.g., building rework/expansion.
  • Mods that only edit PMs are compatible.
  • Mods that add new buildings are compatible but this mod has no effect on them.

FAQs
  1. Features are enabled but have no effects.
    This is usually caused by incompatible mods, e.g., building rework/expansion.
    Also, please make sure the mod has been updated to the latest version. Steam often doesn't download updated mods immediately, so you have to resubscribe the mod or refresh the mod list in this case.

  2. Some buildings aren't working properly, e.g., wrong PMs or employee number.
    Same as FAQ 1.

  3. Differences compared to 1.8 or previous version.
    -> On-going constructions (or they are about to be added) won't be cancelled.
    -> Buildings can still be privatized despite the restrictions.

  4. Private investment stops working after too many features are enabled.
    The base game has its own logic to decide what to build, so if there are too many restrictions, private investment might stop working because there are no options left.

  5. Private investment is still not working after the disabled options were switched back.
    If this happened, try some actions to force the game to reset its variables, e.g., S/L and waiting for a few in-game months (sometimes years). Technically it's not a bug but a base game problem and some vanilla cases might also trigger it even without this mod.

  6. Is it possible to directly control private constructions?
    Yes but this can only be done by strongly changing how AI builds and seizing money from investment pool constantly. Simply disabling all private constructions only makes all economic systems a worse command economic.

  7. Private investment makes many unsuitable decisions.
    This mod only intervenes which options AI has but doesn't touch how AI chooses them, and AI is often buggy especially after major updates.

  8. Does this mod support multiplayer?
    It hasn't been tested in multiplayer but should still work when there are more players.

  9. If FAQs didn't help, how should I report a bug?
    Please leave detailed description instead of a simple "xxx doesn't work".
    Please describe the problem like this: enabled feature -> expected effect -> actual effect.
    Please at least try to provide the following information:
    -> which feature doesn't work,
    -> is it construction or privatization,
    -> is it a construction for new buildings or existing buildings,
    -> domestic or foreign, etc.

does the strict profit conditions not work? the ai seams to continue to build when it should not: it even says 200*building level

@SIX I'm not sure what's the issues with the investment pool priority tab you mentioned, this mod doesn't change any AI weighting variables.

I found that the mod used to have some issues with the investment pool priority tab before; I would have used the vanilla monopoly option instead. That is why I ask to simply remove the 100 authority costs if you could instead of using the add on !

1. 既然说了是“各种限制”,那就是所有功能都只针对“建造”而不是“私有化/收购。

2. 1.87前私有化和私人建造是绑定的,1.9后解除这个绑定才会导致这个效果。

3. 这种行为是hard-coded的,也就是说在can_build里怎么限制都不会影响私有化。这个功能不是"添加“的而是游戏底层代码决定的,所以我才说这是游戏版本1.9的改动而不是我的mod改动了功能,具体的按钮描述我有空会更新。

作者大大,目前mod里没有 不允许私人建造或扩建的同时,允许私有化 的功能吗,还是我没找到,如果真的没有的话,请参考下我的mod,把这功能加进去吧
