This mod is easily my favorite and the one i've played the most,i've created many ships ranging from small support vessels to over 30k P capital ships and i must say that you've have done an amazing job with this mod, wart of which i love this mod is that fact that it revolves around the use of fast, fragile ships with powerful long range weaponry, which is my favorite way to play most games, especially this one.
Now that i'm done with that rant, on to my suggestions:
-Missile silo that shoots very fast and agile missiles at a rapid rate(~3-5 missiles per second)
-the ability to make "floating" segments of ships(as seen in the nanites and infraspacia mod)
-extreme rapid fire weapon with a wide spread, low damage per shot, long range and moderate blast radius per shot(basically a long range "flamethrower")
-Melee weapons.with a faction that moves as fast as this one it seems very fitting, besides the low armor value.
-the ability to anchor stations to astroids with a similar system as the roots in the bee faction
-a larger, longer range flak cannon more suitable for use as a weapon
-heal beams
-a very large station with a cavernous space inside it that acts as a sort of shipyard
-shielded drones with little to no firepower, and moderatly strong shields
-continuous long range, but reletively ineficcient lasers
-the space equivalent of airbreaks, basically toggleably blocks that dramatically slow whatever ship it's on.too many times have i died in a small ship because i rammed an astroid too fast.
-some large, high velocity charging projectile weapon with decent penetration.
-shorter variations of the factory block
-a block that generates recource at a decent rate(not the shipyard)
-1x1 generator block
That's all i've got for now, i'll surely come up with more ideas.
Take care.
-a fixed healing beam
-you have the "europa" rocket batteries, you could possibly make a weapon similar to that, exept it only fires one large projectile with high damage and a large explosion
-similar to the point defence flak cannon you have, you could add a weapon with more damage and less spread thats still short range, you could also possibly make a faster firing silightly longer ranged fixed version of that, like a short range flamethrower
-a small beam(similar in size to the point defence flak cannon) that slows down ships, with small amounts of damage and a relatively large explosive radius
-a block thats large and octogon shaped that takes away power, and generates rescources, with a relatively small mass
-an incinerator block that uses rescources and generates power
-a thruster that takes a small amount of power, but uses rescources
-a 2x1 rcs thruster that lasts for a very short amount of time but has a large amount of quick thrust
-a 3x1-4x1 fixed missile silo that shoots slow, unguided (or guided) nuclear bombs
- 3x3 or 4x4 long range turreted laser that has low damage but slows the enemy, like a gravity well, and a similar 4x2 or 5x2 fixed beam that immobilises the enemy
there is an exotic kind of energy production better than fusion and less dangerous than black holes though. electroweak burning. happens on hypothetical electroweak stars. if there are warp fields and stuff, that makes the needed conditions easier to achieve
I have commented on your mod before, and I'm still a big fan. I've enjoyed playing the Enceladus Aerospace Fleet more than any other faction (mod or vanilla) I have tried.
I am satisfied with the final state of EAF as it is, but I wanted to ask (1) if you have made any other mods, and (b) if you would consider/be interested in making another? I feel that the ships you designed and the weapons you created are very sleek, artful, unique, and balanced with a wonderful dynamic where it is difficult early on, but by the endgame you feel very powerful and can stomp enemies, yet are still vulnerable enough to die if you get cocky.
So, that's all to say that I would LOVE to see what else your creative potential could create. Something similar, but with a different approach? Something entirely different? Something inspired by some IP in real life? Any of these options could be amazing!
Hey, sorry for the late reply. I have a few other mods (linked at the bottom of this post) and I'm planning to make more in the future. I've been a little busy as of late with IRL stuff, so I haven't been doing much Reassembly stuff for a while - I do fully intend to continue as soon as possible though.
I actually have eight other mods which are all somewhere between 40-90% complete - Alas, I'm kind of bad at finishing things without getting distracted by a new idea and starting on something else. I'm hoping to release at least some of these in the near-ish future though, so keep an eye out.
With regard to exactly what sort of mods I'm working on, all the ones currently in progress are my own ideas rather than being based on other IPs, but I would like to do a couple mods of that sort in future (probably some WH40k or Starcraft stuff). Some are a bit like EAF; others are totally different. A couple of them are fairly minimal and intended mostly as enemy factions just to add some more flavour to gameplay. One is the result of fantasy wizards developing spaceflight. So yeah, lots of different stuff to come soonish (hopefully).
On another note, EAF is not actually 100% finished; I have at least one more update planned and in development whenever I can get around to balancing and releasing it. It won't be huge, but there'll be maybe 10-20 new parts and a small handful of additional ships and such; maybe some minor changes to the existing content.
Thanks for all the kind words! ^^

My other mods:
Burning Blade Ascendancy: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1143819024
(Slow, unshielded ships with heavy armour and a lot of firepower. Originally intended to be a sort of "hard mode" enemy faction for people who find the vanilla game too easy, but I ended up making them playable as well.)
Bubble Ships: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1371946393
(Ships made of bubbles. A fairly low-effort mod which is a direct homage to the Bubble Tanks series of browser games, which shared many similarities with Reassembly. A bit low on content (though I plan to add more eventually) and better as an enemy faction IMO, but it's perfectly playable.)
Expanded Armoury: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1310426624
(Adds 108 new weapons (and some generators and such) to the vanilla factions. They're balanced to be around the same strength as vanilla weapons for their cost, so this doesn't make the game significantly harder or easier. Some of the weapons added are suitable for extremely large ships (tens to hundreds of thousands of P) since the vanilla game doesn't really have any weaponry of the proper scale for such ships. I plan to make a mod which gives the vanilla factions new ship designs which use these weapons, but it might take a while since it'll be a lot of work.)
Edit: I want to use Burning Blade Ascendancy, but I am reluctant to download the graphics overhaul because I am concerned that it will make my Enceladus ships look worse... maybe my concerns are unfounded, but my ships already look better than the pictures on the mod, so I guess I'm concerned that the graphics overhaul will somehow alter that. Point being, is it required for the Burning Blade mod?
Sure, I'd be happy to collaborate on some stuff once I get back to modding. Feel free to send me a message at any time - aside from that, I'll be sure to keep this in mind and let you know if I need anything.
Graphics mod is definitely not required; it's just that some of the visual particle effects change depending on whether or not you have SGO. They still look fine without it though; just a bit different. You can also enable/disable the graphics mod from the mods menu in-game at any time, so if you don't like it, it's easy enough to turn off. Personally I play with SGO on and the background graphics option set to "just stars", but it's really just a matter of personal preference. I included a few sample pictures below.
