What I like is these all upgrades for Tacticals. And, as a modder myself, have a question - how did you manage to do it with impossibility to clone with renaming (it's possible, but makes your custom game crash on start)?

You can not clone attributes changing their names, as indeed the game breaks. if you want to create new units or new skills you must use any attribute that is not in use (the vast majority of the attributes of the campaign) and change attributes.

You mean, that campaign attributes (in this case upgrades) are clonable with renaming? And if so ..... lascannon and HB upgrades should be (at least I assume so) upgrades involving the replacement of one tactical_marine model in the squad with respective_devastator_marine one, shouldn't they?

Not a replacement of a model, but an update or investigation similar to that used with plasma guns.

I.e. tacticals have all proper animations? Or animations can be copy-pasted from respective devastators?

You can change any attribute of the squads or the instances, so if you want to modify the animations of a unit you can do it perfectly or its main and secondary weapons, or its armor model or the way it is reinforced ... You can Do practically everything you want with certain exceptions and limitations of the tool. Another thing is to know how to do it, since unfortunately 99% of what I know how to do it I have learned it alone, based on errors and investing many hours, since unfortunately there are no tutorials on this tool.

In other words - you spent too much time mastering it to share with anyone just so? It's understandable. Still, I'm humbly asking you to teach me, how to make heavy weapons upgrades for TSM (and, maybe ML and HB for Scouts). To be clear - changing all weapons in the squad (like it's done with plasmaguns) is not what I'd like to do (I've got Devastators with 4 heavy weapons in my mod), but something similar to flamer or ML upgrade. I managed to add these upgrades as such, but - still cannot understand, how to add respective animations for them.

So far I'm loving this Mod more than any other I've found and it genuinely makes DOW III suddenly fun to play, but one thing the game talks about is taking away those 3 dumb strategems or whatever that you get to pick out and making them upgrades that you can buy and thus far for Space Marines at least I have yet to see that as an option and in fact when it comes to upgrading your units from the buildings (like the Armory) there are now less options for upgrades rather than more so I was wondering what happened with that.

I have reduced the updates in the space marines, but in return I have offered a new way of updating weapons that is linked to the technological level. For example, flamethrowers have been modified to be an economic and area weapon, grenades are offered to all squads, plasma is more damaging and without overheating, heavy bolters do not need assembly / disassembly time and missile launchers are expensive but very effective.

They are the only race that can adapt to any strategy and in any situation, in a very simple way.

Their pro is that they are strong, versatile and in long runs they are devastating and their counterpart is that they are the most expensive breed and the one that is hardest to maintain at the beginning.

Thanks for your comment and I'm very happy that you like the mod.
I want you to add Thunderhawk as a unit, load up the troops and move them somewhere else.
Ive yet to see Plasma devastators from any mod, i kinda want to see them again cause they look epic
This mod's brilliant, love the Whirlwind move ability. Is this mod still going?
It'd be a massive change if it's not. It's revived the game for me.
