one that scans for other ships of the same team and either shoots or runs into them

Behaviour 65 (Lidar Scan) does most of that except for shooting.

how about a spreading feature that converts other program blocks leading to even more chaos? if included with behavior 5 it will be even better

This can't be done unfortunetly with the current API. The best that can be done is to activate program blocks that already have the virus in them or run other program blocks that have scripts in them.
This is one scary ass script, any way to sort of remotely transplant it into enemy ships?
Exception List
I think this will help if your doing a all options behaviors. If you don't want a specific behavior to function.

Letting this script mess around with artificial gravity would be a great addition

what about printing warhead missiles and other annoyances to attack itself, or printing a small cargo barge that flies to a specific point for you to pick up?
also jump drive activation at random points away from civilisation, or into heavily armed enemies?

Unfortunetly scripts are very limited in how they can interact with blueprints/projectors. At most it can turn on a projector that already has a blueprint loaded in it and rotate it move it around.

It is not currently possible to tell a projector via a script to load a specific blueprint, that has to be done manually by a player.
