Divisional Commanders
is there a possibility to add historical divisional commanders/field officers (including portraits)?

like f.e. Rommel being a major general in the invasion of france and not a full general yet.

Yes. But we cant add traits or refer to promoted unit leaders. So Rommel would be a 1/1/1/1 unit leader once promoted

I mean that's perfectly fine Bob! it's like being promoted to FM you would start from "zero" (or with a debuff), as you are adjusting to your new position :))
