In reality, how can army train or maintain any artillery batteries without a single operational cannon in their stockpile? They destroyed or sold all operational cannons after WWI?

U do know that one artillery battalion or support company just use 12 guns , 2500 for how many battalions and support companies? And training regular 4 artillery battalions division, 2500 for how many divisions?
