great mod, but a few questions on some topics.
first of all, i think you have made great changes with the mod. i actually enjoy playing this again on very hard, since i now dont win the campaign with just a few steamrolling armies.
still i got a few sidenotes. first of all, you upped moral WAY to much for certain units. i agree elite units fight until about 10% are still alive, but i now see normal/low ranked units fight even though they have like just 30 men and are greatly outnumbered. also i completely surrounded a big mob army, with mostly superior troops. yet no ones morale broke, i hope i don't have to mind you on the battle of Cannae for that one. also cavalary charges became very useless. not only do charges almost no morale damage (which they should! you ever been charged by those beasts?) and also they generally do very low damage. these horses break, and i literally mean BREAK a man apart when they charge in, doing massive damage to someones bone damage, even while heavily armored. instead they just knock all those guys down, which just get up and fight again. this is highly unrealistic, next to the fact that horses (when used properly like with an hammer and anvil) should do brutal damage, and not just knock some guys down. i hope you consider making these 2 changes : morale adjustment & horse damage.
for it really bugs me that it usually is just a fight to the death, while in almost all the wars humans fought, especially in those days, no more then 30% of the army actually died, and the rest fled.

yup charge sucks, elephants charge too... 2 cavalry troops vs 1 iberian swordsman - 24 died after charge, enemy broken only after loose 134...

Seconded, thank you Servius for already bringing this up. Last I checked, shock cavalry
was designed to break a unit first charge, despite killing relatively minimal kills compared to prolonged melee. Also, while I absolutely agree "all" units should stick around till they're down to about 30% or so troops. The way it's done now though, means elite troops lose to vastly inferior troops, simply by fact of numbers. Charging and combat need to be balanced out a bit more so that Elite troops are a viable option over inferior troops, and shock troops regain their uses.
Edit: I changed my mind, I was thinking about how warhammer plays out moral and combat,
units take break tests to flee if they only lose 30% of their regiment in a single combat turn. So for a total war game, if your unit is losing men 3x faster, they should flee, instead of sticking around to the last 30% men. On the other hand, maybe all units should rally sooner, instead of running all the way off the battlefield.

I'd argue the cav have a much too high defense too, a unit of triarii vs a light cav unit should be a cakewalk for the "very heavy spear unit", instead it seems to be more of a 50-50 affair.
