Edit April 29th 2023:

V86 is now out on github: https://github.com/SonicTHI/SaveOurShip2Experimental

This is the long awaited version where the last of the broken features from 1.4 have been fixed and almost all the anticipated experimental overhauls are in place save maneuvering & accuracy and the new ship caching optimization. Wall lights are no longer a dependency, hugslib is removed, ships (and attached ships & fleets) can now save and be loaded in a new game scenario start. Micro parts are now available for smaller ships: micro life support, micro shield, micro reactor.

y'all are amazing for working on this for free, take your time and like the Ferret said don't overwork yourselves. Love the mod and I honestly can't thank mod creators like you enough <3

This is the very first thing I checked when I bought biotech just now. We appreciate you! No stress :) Looking forward to playing it when it's ready!

This was one of my favourite additions to RimWorld, especially the Afterlife Vault start - take your time with it, I'd rather have to wait and have it work well than have it rushed and be no good.

You guys are awesome. Take your time and remember to take care of yourselves, too. I'm just excited to see that there is a plan in place for 1.4. Whenever it gets here, we'll all be thrilled!

Why don't you code it yourself? See how long that takes?

dang lmao please take it easy folks, I am happy waiting as long as needed for this. The stuff added in 1.4 is cool but SOS is literally my end game content and I'm confused you all don't have jobs with them yet making SOS just the next official expansion or something. I feel the content you provide completes the game 100%.

Anyway I have over 1000 hours and can wait a little longer. hope the stress and anxiety go away soon and try to ignore the "updates?" horde, cheers folks

Thanks for the hard work! Don't stress out - we will all wait and once it's done we will all be happy campers once again. :)

Between waiting for Vehicles and having previously waited for this back when it was first announced, I see no issue in being patient. I'd rather get a high-quality mod with minimal bugs and as little impact to performance as its developers reasonably can rather than a rush job that tanks the game, after all.

This is where efforts for 1.4 are currently.

We've stressed about getting this update out soon, and it's caused a tremendous amount of frustration and anxiety. Holograms are broken in several ways, planet travel is broken in several ways, the gas/pollution system can't dissipate in space, and there is a legacy of technical debt Kent feels very strongly must be addressed, especially in undocumented code or destructive harmony patches that should be implemented via transpliers.

Experimental is at least functional in 1.4, but has serious issues where it's not ready for steam yet, for the above issues and game breaking or cosmetic issues. 1.4 hit right in the middle of that work being done.

So 1.3 is the current stable version of SOS2.

The work load required to cure all these problems may take weeks. Possibly months.

Take your time, I'll enjoy my current playthrough and when you're done I'll enjoy playing your mod on 1.4

Take it easy, At least 1.4 is coming we all know updates take time. As long as its in the pipe were all happy. Have huge game running in 1.3 no hurry to break it and start over.
WHEN UR READY WE'LL BE READY

Ya nah bud. You and the team shouldn't overwork yourselves. It'll be ready when it's ready. This mod is like an expansion all its own and y'all do such a great job with it <3
