Zedternal Reborn V1:
  • New Features Such As - having added the Matriarch, re-enabled the Omega Siren, balanced default wave configurations, and began the ongoing processes of reorganizing the configuration file and optimizing the code in general.
  • Fixed Features Such As - the Magic Bullet skill not working in multiplayer, the Division + Tiny Terror infinite zeds issue, compatibility with certain endless maps, the issues surrounding nailguns in the trader pod, bosses causing the wave and zed counter to freeze, and began the ongoing process of solving issues surrounding new and rejoining players in multiplayer.

Zedternal Reborn V2:
  • New Features Such As - having added new settings to handle stuck zeds on a per map basis, reduced Matriarch plasma cannon damage to balance against existing bosses, and added and then rebalanced precious weapon variants for all base-game weapons which now make use of player-equipped skins.
  • Fixed Features Such As - the wave manager failing after reaching a few thousand zeds, the zed counter failing to update properly, weapon upgrades breaking after 255 upgrades, server to client replication functionality via major optimizations, the Pyromaniac skill's inconsistent behavior, and began the ongoing process of optimizing the Zedternal Reborn buy menu system's code while also continuing the ongoing process of solving issues surrounding new and rejoining players in multiplayer.

Zedternal Reborn V3:
  • New Features Such As - having added dual weapon compatibility to the starting and static weapons lists, updated the precious weapons list with newly released weapons and balance changes, and began the ongoing process of significantly modifying the Zedternal Reborn buy menu system's visual layout.
  • Fixed Features Such As - certain typos, some known bugs in the starting weapons list, the Extra Rounds skill in general, a constrictive size limitation pertaining to customized configuration files with more than 255 lines in the Config_Zed section, the compatibility of weapon upgrades for certain new weapons, and continued the ongoing processes of optimizing the Zedternal Reborn buy menu system's code and optimizing the code in general.

Zedternal Reborn V4:
  • New Features Such As - having added a local player configuration option to remember one's preferred grenade, reenabled and balanced the InstaKill special wave, doubled the available weapon slots in the trader from 255 to 510, incorporated a new console launch argument for max players functionality that no longer requires third-party modifications, and significantly overhauled the ZedBuffs system to allow for multiple ZedBuffs to spawn on a single wave while also allowing for specifying both the total amount of bonus dosh and bonus trader time granted per either one ZedBuff round or the total amount of ZedBuff spawns in a given round.
  • Fixed Features Such As - the HUD reflecting one's chosen grenade correctly, one's preferred knife being remembered correctly, the main menu going to the vanilla Perk Menu as opposed to the Match Overview menu by default, several bugs related to ZedBuffs, several issues related to the Omega Siren, multiple issues regarding replication functions, a huge majority of the inventory management code to allow for full support of more than 255 weapons in the trader without resulting in crashes, weapon and item pickups failing to function and abide by the predefined settings within the Zedternal Reborn configuration file, and continued the ongoing processes of optimizing the code to improve performance and stability while also cleaning up the code to improve user experience.

Zedternal Reborn V5:
  • New Features Such As - having added a built-in scoreboard that supports more than 6 players, a 12 player lobby screen, and Objective Holdout support with extensive customization options as well as new configuration file options for the following: setting grenade price, enabling or disabling armor item pickup spawns, and defining the dosh lost on death penalty via a percentage value.
  • Fixed Features Such As - the item spawns on certain custom maps failing to be correctly updated by Zedternal Reborn, the menu code needing adjustments in order to prevent players from spam clicking on items when others are still queued up for syncing, the cycling of ZedBuffs during trader time taking far too long, the special wave selection logic to ensure two identical waves will never be selected at once, the Predator special wave failing to kill Predators at the end of the wave, changed the Predator spawn total from 3 to a value that depends on the number of current players, several compatibility issues between certain special waves such as Bobble Zed + Hard Skin or Titans + Tiny Terror, certain redirection downloading issues with the ZedternalReborn_Menus.upk, certain GUI menus which were broken by a change in the Tripwire source code, and continued the ongoing processes of optimizing the code to improve performance and stability while also cleaning up the code to improve user experience.

Zedternal Reborn V6:
  • New Features Such As - having added support for magazine sizes greater than 255, support for up to 4080 weapon upgrade slots, support for specifying special waves via a config override array, a console command to open the Zedternal Reborn upgrade menu, a trader time launch argument, an all traders toggle configurable on a per map basis, starting dosh/wave/tradertime config settings configurable on a per map basis, and updated the precious weapons list with newly released weapons and balance adjustments.
  • Fixed Features Such As - Tiny Husks potentially causing crashing, WMPerk index issues that could lead to crashing, WMPerk issues regarding looping triggering crashing, weapon variant issues regarding starting weapons and dual weapons, double upgrades appearing for starting weapons, reloading mechanics of under-barrel grenade launchers with magazine sizes greater than 1, the omega/custom ZED code's performance by implementing massive improvements, custom boss ZEDs breaking ZED spawning by marking them as a large ZED instead of as a boss, skip trader button functionality in the Zedternal Reborn upgrade menu, UI edge cases in the Zedternal Reborn scoreboard, reducing the spam and increasing the debugging value of logging processes, began the process of balancing skills and adjusting their descriptions for clarity, and continued the ongoing processes of optimizing the code to improve performance and stability while also cleaning up the code to improve user experience with a special focus on server to client replication.

Zedternal Reborn V7:
  • New Features Such As - having added the current version number of Zedternal Reborn to the lobby screen, a workaround for an internal Tripwire bug impacting magazine sizes above 255, an improved formula for calculating end of wave bonus dosh that scales better over time/rewards players for performing well and allows for more configurability, increased difficulty to The Horde special wave after wave 10, improved balance to all perk upgrades except Gunslinger/Survivalist/SWAT with 6 levels of upgrades in mind, and updated the precious weapons list with newly released weapons and balance adjustments.
  • Fixed Features Such As - removing the max armor limit of 255, logging for end of wave bonus dosh, the precious HRG Tesla Launcher file path due to Tripwire source code changes, skill effects double firing by ensuring the code runs only on the server or the client for multiplayer and singleplayer respectively, the Locked special wave failing to both apply welding material to doors and reset doors at the end of the wave, completed the process of balancing skills and adjusting their descriptions as well as those of perks and weapon upgrades for clarity, and continued the ongoing processes of optimizing the code to improve performance and stability while also cleaning up the code to improve user experience with a special focus on network and memory optimizations.

  • New Features Such As - having added the ability for players to reroll skills granted under a given perk, a config option to specify which perk levels grant deluxe skills, buffs to the Door Traps and Fallback skills via grenade capacity increases, the Equipment Upgrade menu, the following new equipment upgrades: Fall Compensator Boots/Gas Mask/Night Vision, the Gore Shiv to the knife menu, affliction resistance to all Omega ZEDs to buff them, and updated the precious weapons list with newly released weapons and balance adjustments.

Zedternal Reborn V9:
  • New Features Such As - having added proper Supplier skill HUD icon functionality, improved Watcher skill icons, 4 new equipment upgrades: Health Up/Armor Up/Spare Batteries/HUD Stabilizer, increased default weapon addition per wave from 2 to 3, increased default max weapon pool from 24 to 48, improvements to trader menu mechanics: the Survivalist perk filter will be selected on first open/the last perk filter selected will be remembered on next open/the Zedternal Reborn perk filter shows only precious and modded weapons, added three new functions to WMPerk and WMUpgrade to enable advanced custom functionality for extension mods and add-ons, and updated the precious weapons list with newly released weapons and balance adjustments.
  • Fixed Features Such As - the Tripwire bug regarding fake/phantom/ghost players that was introduced during the EOS integration, a change from Tripwire that forcibly sorted the map list in alphabetical order for servers, implementing buffs to the Combatant Doctor and Scrapper skills' ammo generation, implementing expansions in the Supplier skill's code in order to allow for granting of armor and grenades in addition to ammo, the Supplier skill and HUD icon not triggering properly, the Tight Choke weapon upgrade failing to function, trader menu weapon sorting not matching normal KF2 trader logic, trader dialog from Patriarch and Hans failing to announce the wave number at the start of the wave, the scoreboard incorrectly displaying level and health values greater than 255, implementing improvements to the player information seen while spectating, additional issues with late joiner dosh granting, assorted logging adjustments, and continued the ongoing processes of optimizing the code to improve performance and stability while also cleaning up the code to improve user experience.
