As this will completely change gameplay and the classic RA1 experience
Good idea for a separate mod though. You'd also probably have to create separate 'garrison artwork' for every single building. Which would be a lot of work
So I'd disagree it will completely change gameplay - this will be barely noticeable, I'd say.
But that's exactly the reason why it may be not worth to implement even if this is possible - a lot of work for a feature that is useless in 95% of gameplay.
Of course I'd be happy to see it work, though.
Veterancy though...
Except, we have a map editor.
Also there are some scenarios that this might be fun in.
I was also thinking about veterancy, as well as capturing the oil derrick structures for money...
As for artwork... I don't know about NEEDING seperate artwork, you could just draw pips on it if it has units inside. EDIT: Or add sandbags around it?
