Suggestions & Roadmap
I started this discussion to handle all suggestions to stop cluttering the main chat and to better let people know the upcoming updates by editing this top message.

Roadmap
  • Persistent convars (don't reset the bindings when you reload)
  • Server config to manage global damage multipliers and range for balance, as well as to enable/disable door kicking
  • Options to adjust the position of the animation to taste
  • Allow doors to be blown off their hinges at certain power levels
  • Basic third person animation

Making the leg move with the camera.

Suggestion 2:

Don't know if it's possible to do it but making it compatitible with Gmod Legs 3 or Enhanced Camera etc.

The leg does move with the camera.... Is it some other mod interfering with it?
I have been thinking about gmod legs compatability for a while, might add it to the roadmap
I suggest to change the kick sound. Default kick sounds weird - reminds me of the swing of crowbar :/

It actually is the crowbar swing sound. Just wanted to be efficient and save on resources. Though I see your point, have any other candidate sounds?

Good old SMod Kick sounds, of course.
Any possibility of having it only as a command instead of an entire bind?
I would like to use MOUSE3 as the function to use the Radial Bind Menu command (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2391301431), but the Kick has no command set to it. Making me have 2 binds instead of choosing whether i'd like to kick or not.
The kick's force doesn't seem to scale with player velocity, so it feels awkward when you sprint up to something and kick it. I'd love if velocity was added in.

Good idea!
Whenever you kick the door, it plays a different sound, like the SMod kick
Can you make it so your leg doesn't come out of the location of your arm?

It doesn't but if you mean on a technical level the fact that it is parented to your viewmodel, that's just how VManip works, will be present in anything including it

I recommend the ability to kick up/down, and maybe an option to push the player in the opposite direction of the kick.
Mighty foot engaged is a good example, but it is missing the third person kick animations.
I second both the velocity damage modifier and self-applied force from kicks. Both are great ideas for an already awesome mod.
no mods are interfering (because i disabled them) yet i cant seem to kick in third person
