Improved Hotbar

using this mod with a Stream Deck
The main issue holding back the creation of some kick ass Steam Deck profiles for DOS 2 is that you can't hotkey a specific hotbar.
Example:
bar 1 = ctrl+1
bar 2 = ctrl+2
bar 3 = ctrl+3
bar 4 = ctrl+4
bar 5 = ctrl+5

Does your mod allow that?
If it does, then a Stream Deck could be the ultimate controller for DOS 2.

Hey, sorry for not seeing this thread earlier.

This mod is for the KB+M UI only. It does nothing while playing with the controller UI. If you remap the controller to use a KB+M layout it would work, however that's unlikely to be a good experience with the small screen on the deck.

I could look into adding such hotkeys for the controller UI, however it would not happen anytime soon.

I think you misunderstood me. Do you have shortcuts to select the hotbars 1 thru 5 with a keyboard shortcut?

There aren't, since the primary point of the mod is to display 2+ bars at the same time.

I'm trying to figure out if this thread is discussing stReam deck or Steam deck.

In retrospect I think they meant the Stream Deck and the first line has a typo. For the Steam Deck I recommend using a KB+M layout to get the KB+M UI; though smaller, it has the huge advantage of UI mods working with it.

Keybinds to scroll the first bar to a particular row still do not exist (haven't heard any other requests for that), however Epip now has an option to allow using slots from extra bars via Shift/Ctrl/Alt + Number key (ex. Shift+2 uses second slot on the second visible bar).
