Report issues here and I'll actually be able to notify people when I respond, unlike the comments section.

For issues with a slot "not working" or the whole mod borking up, an extender runtime log is helpful, along with the mod you suspect is problematic (the issue is 99% *not* on that mod author's side, just to be clear)

Should you encounter such an issue, note that it is perfectly safe to disable and re-enable the mod at any time, if your hotbar happens to get completely bugged out somehow.

You can enable logging by setting
"LogRuntime": true
in
OsirisExtenderSettings.json
in the folder where you put the extender. The logs will end up in the "Extender Logs" folder in your DOS2 save folder.

All my skills seem to be dark, If the save load outs option only saves a single bar, and the extra action buttons get over written pretty frequently by spells and items.

Please send a log and which other mods you're using (that add skills). A savefile would help as well.
Load outs consist of only one row by design.

Alright relaunched my game and most of the issues seem to have resolved them selves since last I played, but I assume they'll crop up again at some point so I'll keep my eyes peeled and play with logging on as I restart. Sorry to not have a log in short order but I've been testing builds and load order for a while so no telling when it came about.

I've released a patch now fixing some more issues with certain skills. Additionally the whole hotbar should no longer break if a single skill is unable to render properly. Let me know if your setup still has this problem.

Gotten it to happen a couple times in Kremm's Vault in Arx, with out much ado, but not consistently and not while I've had any logging. Been trying to get it to happen while I've logging but I've not managed to get any logs in spite settings, let alone when it happens. So I've got to sort that first if I can.

The player and quest pointer icons on the minimap flicker when this mod is enabled, but only when the camera is moving (as in following the party, or moving independently). All is fine when the camera is still. Any idea what might be causing this?

Hi i seem to have a very weird issue. I installed the script extender and the mod. My problem is when I load my save file i get this message: "We were unable to create a working Story. Your add-on setup might be invalid..." and nothing changes ingame
I also read that i should see a text with "script extender" during loading, but I dont see anything.
I have no other mod running from steam, only one from Nexus called Achievements.
Do you know what might be the Problem?

You didn't install the extender properly if you don't see it on the main menu or at the bottom of the loading screens. You must also uninstall the nexus achievements mod (it is completely redundant with the extender, and conflicts with it)

Wow ok... no idea what changed, but i redid everything from scratch and now it works. Script extender ist now working perfectly fine and the mod as well. I then even retried installing the achievements mod, and that works now as well. Seems they are compatible after all. maybe it was the order in which it has to be installed

Not a huge issue, but when this mod is used with Unique Loot Drops a black dot seems to permanently appear on the screen to stay once text from the mod appears (Whether it be a loot drop or an items effect text)

Even after combat ends this dot stays on screen and persists even through saving and reloading.

It also seems to happen with some class mods as well with unique mechanics, such as some of Clerics class mods.

Dunno if there's a way this could be fixed but would be nice if so.

It doesn't seem to work, at least not in co-op (I'm not host).
Might be related to "Requires Norbyte's Script Extender v56" - current version is .57?

I couldn't dig up older version to try it out, I've downloaded both v3 (.57) and v5 (.57 also) - neither worked

Joining a host causes their mod list to load. Therefore if the host is not using the mod, it will not load.

Thank you, it worked after host installed it as well.
By the way, the loader Norbyte's Script Extender newest version (https://github.com/Norbyte/ositools/releases/tag/updater_v5) worked perfectly fine

I have this same issue. I thought my monitor had finally started to break it gave me quite a scare
