Gonna offer a lot of criticism here. Don't take it the wrong way, I really enjoyed this mod. I look forward to seeing what the future updates bring to it.

Couple of Notes though

Hyper Lanes opening up. Wish there was an event or a notification when it happened. I realized there was a point where I spent a lot of time waiting to see when systems like Magellan would populate so I could beat my rival to them

Recommended Population/Logistic Growth - Playing with the default is still pretty quick. I was maxing/capping out really fast. Recommend anyone playing through adjust it accordingly otherwise by year 2400 you'll be battling unemployment pretty quickly

Criminal Syndicates - There's almost too many of them. I noticed late game I was spending more time messing around with Enforcers and Anti Crime policies. Found it near the end that it was more convenient to just conquer the syndicates to close down their corporations

Icons - Kinda buggy

Weapons - I had a really hard time differentiating between the various types of weapons. Definitely noticed the anti shield weapon, but then it was multiple flavors of anti armor/hull. Couldn't really tell a real difference between the weapons.

Wishlist - Nomads/Coalition populate like an end game crisis and spawn with their systems vs being a standing empire.

Random Faction Spawn for Minor Factions?


Bugs

Pretty sure a lot of the Planet Modifers (Sleeper Ships are the biggest offenders) aren't working. Noticed a lot of the benefits such as gas, crystals, and motes were not working. Noticed specifically with Manhattan, though I haven't checked the other Great Houses to see if they were more/less the same.

Overall again, loved the mod. Keep up the great work man. Also, fingers crossed that we get the Omega System battle theme as a soundtrack song? That one is an absolute classic. Same for the Kusari battle one. :D

-Hyperlanes
Notifications are an interesting idea, but it would get a bit spammy. Like, really /really/ spammy. There are currently 56 events specifically related to spawning new hyperlanes. Some of these events only spawn a single connection, while others spawn dozens.

-Population/Logistic Growth
I absolutely agree. I, honestly, hate that Paradox has given us a vague and non-descriptive slider rather than properly balancing this feature. I'd definitely enjoy hearing ideas about how to address this issue.

-Criminal Syndicates
Yeah, I hate this too. I've actually cut them entirely for the current build. Honestly, I really don't enjoy how this ethic works mechanically - but couldn't think of a more appropriate ethic to assign. (For the time being, the factions are set to barbaric despoilers - which leads to /other/ issues, but more palatable ones.)

-Icons
/VERY/ buggy and not complete, hahaha.

-Weapons
Yeah, another incomplete feature that the AI doesn't handle well and I'm honestly considering cutting entirely. It was difficult enough to understand in Freelancer, and incorporating it into an RTS/Grand Strategy format feels.... not great.

-Crisis Wishlist
I'm open to this, and this was the original idea - but it was easier to get the factions out/playable as normal empires. Incorporating them as a crisis would be quite a bit of work, but I don't dislike the idea.

-Planet Modifiers
Interesting! They're seeming to work as of this latest build.

-Music
I hadn't realized that I didn't have all of the ingame music! The included audio is from two separate versions of the Freelancer OST - I guess not all of the game music was included. Weird. I'll look into it! I'd really like to have all of the Freelancer music included.

Yep! It turns out that there's a ton of music not included in the OST.
I should be able to convert all of the Freelancer music from its native .WAV to the .OGG files that Stellaris uses, but it'll take more time than I have tonight.

np. I really love the Freelancer game and universe. Anytime it gets positive attention is a win in my book. love the mod, keep it up! :D
