This is intended behaviour, just like tornade can clean deathfog. I guess I didnt put it in the description. Thanks for noticing!

Wave also clean lava or not?

I think if its permanent lava like in act 3, it wont clear (or it will clear but reapply immediately), lava summoned by Hannag for example can be cleared.
