The Spiderkin and Cockroach appear as the normal human sprites.
I assume that isn't working as intended?

Nah, that's working as intended. It's what allows you to play that race using any callings you have installed, even from other mods. The base game doesn't allow custom sprites based on Genotype alone. Given my artistic "ability" I figured I'd let at least some races use good looking sprites.

As I get better at pixel art, I'll consider expanding/re-doing the sprite roster.

The one cockroach preset does use the roach sprite, though. If you don't mind going the lead firehose route.
Ah, presets are the one thing I didn't check. Okay, will have a look. Thank you!
Perhaps adding some separate version of those callings for insectoid sprite showing up ?

For some reason, trying to start with a non-specified name as a waspfolk causes the game to freeze while trying to generate static encounters. It also seems to happen if you have a mod that adds more to the naming menu.
