What to Enable (Important)
The Mods Themselves
  • Better Car Physics: Follow the instructions on the mod's page (it needs to override some files to work)
  • More zoom levels and 360vision: Follow the instructions on the mod's page to only install more zoom levels, and not 360vision (it needs to override some files to work) (360vision breaks the game, do not install it)
  • Retro Gloom (Custom Zomboid Music): Follow the instructions on the mod's page (it needs to override some files to work)
  • LittleYoschi's Skillbooks: edit the "Lockpicking" mod.info to require "zReBetterLockpicking" instead of "betterLockpicking" (the Better Lockpicking fork in this modlist has a different mod ID. It will replace the original without issue)
  • An Exhiliaratingly Organized Literature Mod: Any combination without Flag As Seen (Flag As Seen does not work anymore, do not enable it)
  • Authentic Z: Authentic Z - Lite (the backpack upgrading system in the full version interferes with Noir's Attachments)
  • Extra Map Symbols: only Extra Map Symbols (Extra Map Symbols UI does not work anymore, do not enable it)
  • SecretZ: Any checkpoints except for #2 (the full version conflicts with some map mods in this list and Checkpoint 2 conflicts with St. Bernard's Hill)
  • Snow is water: Snow is water - Rain Barrels only (the full version is buggy and breaks many mods, do not enable it)

You can enable and configure the rest as you please, or choose not to use some of the mods above. Use the same mod load order as the collection, top to bottom.
Remember to look through all of the mod settings & sandbox options, as some do require tweaking for a better experience (such as Conditional Speech and Simple Show XP sending too many messages)
