Update 1.5.4.1 has significantly changed much of the files and greatly improved general compatibility :)

When I wrote this I didn't really understand what BPM does. The short answer is I don't intend to make it work it work properly with BPM.

The longer answer is that BPM works in the sense that you can use them together and BPM itself should mostly work as far as I know, just our content referencing interest groups, which a fair bit does, won't work because those interest groups would be disabled. It would be a real headache to do make this work. For that reason, I also won't bother maintaining any compatibility patches that align any laws/ideologies or anything else that we both might have changed.

While fishing around in logs for a reason why my game is crashing, Victoria Flavor Mod seems to have a minor incompatibility. In my error log, it says this:

"[21:37:17][jomini_script_system.cpp:270]: Script system error!
Error: is_subject_type trigger [ Invalid subject type! ]
Script location: file: common/scripted_triggers/vfm_coa_triggers.txt line: 15 file: common/flag_definitions/anz_flag_definitions.txt line: 706"

It seems to throw this repeatedly, about 4 times per second

Ive never used or tested it, but from looking at it, it should be fine

Have found that the rivers added by this mod, or at least the swan river, doesn't get recognised by Locomotion Land Water Air as a state river trait for LLWA natural waterways
