The update today adds a new jamming mechanic.

When an ECM equipped aircraft is on the field, it imposes penalties on enemy radar guided AA, as well as on other SAM systems that use some type of search radar.

For Radar guided AA, jamming drastically reduces range and accuracy while significantly increasing aim time. For SAMs using search radar (basically everything else except the Strela-1 and MANPADS) aim time is increased about 50%. Jammed radars show the GSR symbol for now (but hopefully I'll find a better one).

There are two levels of ECM, older ECM systems have a smaller negative impact and cannot effect the most modern SAM systems (Tor, Tunguska, Roland 3). Newer ECM systems impact all radar guided systems and have a greater effect.
