Review
A small review after about 30-40 fights 1 on 1.

I like the fact that sometimes the battles look extremely realistic (comparing with the war in Ukraine (adjusted for timeframe)), the offensive without artillery support - most often doomed to failure.Aviation is an extremely effective tool, but it cannot provide support 24/7 and can make only 1-2 strikes per battle. Helicopters are beautiful and effective, but very vulnerable. And so on and so forth.

Ranges look more realistic than generally anywhere I've seen, for a tank - terrain and buildings are the main obstacle, not range. I liked the resilience of infantry when defending in building and forests.

At the same time I did not like the visibility of infantry searching for other infantry in forests (too hard to find).

Slowness of infantry is annoying - but it is realistic.

What I definitely did not like - I consider the impact of high-explosive tank shells on buildings with infantry weak. There were situations when 5-6 vehicles were firing at infantry in the building and inflicted very little damage. Not sure about the realism of this.

The main problem of the mod appeared after the accumulation of experience in the game - the only true tactics will be the initial helicopter rush, divisions with the best helicopter capabilities prevail over any other. In the mod, vehicles and infantry move slower, attacks are much slower (which is certainly realistic) than in vanilla wargame - because of this gap in points reaches critical values, when victory is no longer possible.
My experience - if the opponent has reached 300 points difference in score due to the initial deployment (which is easy if you win helicopter battles on 1-2 flanks) - victory is close to impossible, but there is a small possibility of a draw.

I would agree with this, but, this is absolutely not a realistic picture of combat as I believe. Helicopter landing directly into a hot spot is almost always suicidal when fighting technically equal opponents. The problem is that we have been unable to come up with realistic ways to deal with this situation in a way that doesn't make it worse. The only solution seems to be house rules.

Thanks!

I really appreciate getting gameplay feedback since what I can learn testing is very limited. I am genuinely surprised helo-rushing works here given the SAM ranges. I can make some adjustments (in terms of price/points) to make that less dominant going forward.
