SPARK Guardian Ability Set
SPARK Guardian
Proficiency: Guardian Chassis
Rank 1:
  • Gain Shredder - Attacks shred 2 Armor.
  • Gain Blast Padding - Gain +2 Armor and take less Explosive Damage.
  • Gain Mechanic Chassis - Immune to Poison and Fire Effects, can act as Full Cover to Allies and Enemies.
  • Gain 5 Defense
Rank 2:
  • Gain Sentinel - Overwatch can trigger up to 2 times.
  • Gain Impressive Strength - Increased grenade throw range and gain +2 HP.
  • Gain 5 Aim and 2 Armor.
Rank 3:
  • Gain Advanced Fire Control - Overwatch shots no longer suffer aim penalties.
  • Gain Damage Control - After taking damage, gain +1 armor until the start of your next turn.
  • Gain 5 Defense and 1 Armor

Class Trees:
Dominance - Perks that allow the SPARK to control the battlefield.
Enforcer - Perks that improve the SPARK's ability to take damage.
Protector - Perks that help the SPARK assist their Allies.
Advancements - Perks that assist the SPARK's capabilities.

Dominance:
  • (Sq): Guardian Chassis - Gain Abilities above.
  • (Cpl): Disabling Shot - For 2 Ammo, take a well-placed shot to disable an enemy's weapon until they reload.
  • (Sgt): Automated Threat Assessment - Gain +15 Defense while in Overwatch.
  • (Lt): Flush Em Out
  • (Cpt): Survival Protocol - Gain +3 Defense for each visible enemy up to +30.
  • (Maj): Fight or Flight - Flashbangs have a chance to make enemies Panic based on their Will level, additionally gain a Flashbang.
  • (Col): Dominating Presence - Activate to make enemies within 12 tiles of the SPARK to receive -2 Mobility and -20 Aim for 3 turns.

Enforcer:
  • (Sq): Sloped Armor - Gain a 15% chance to deflect attacks made against you.
  • (Cpl): Deployable Cover - Deploy a temporary High Cover source for one turn.
  • (Sgt): Suppressive Fire
  • (Lt): Pin 'em Down
  • (Cpt): Body Shield - Activate to reduce the SPARK's Defense by 20 and increase its Dodge by 30, can be disabled by using the ability again. Additionally cannot be Critically Hit.
  • (Maj): Defensive Action - Project a shield around an ally that redirects all damage they take towards the SPARK as long as they are within 10 tiles of each other.
  • (Col): Unbreakable Defense - Every turn the SPARK can parry a melee attack, striking back at the enemy. Additionally they take no Melee Damage.

Protector:
  • (Sq): Emergency Kit - Heal / Repair a targeted unit for 3 HP.
  • (Cpl): Smoke & Mirrors - Smoke Grenades and Flashbangs gain an additional charge.
  • (Sgt): Chemical Advancements - Emergency Kit can be used twice and now removes physical afflictions from the targeted unit.
  • (Lt): Artificial Fortitude - Units immediately under cover of a deployed smoke grenade gain +20 Will
  • (Cpt): Valkyrie Protocol - Run up to a friendly unit and project a shield that redirects all damage to the SPARK as long as they are within 10 tiles of each other.
  • (Maj): Reassuring Solace - Units within 4 tiles of the Guardian are not susceptible to mental afflictions or mind control (Blue Solace).
  • (Col): Project NANO - Smoke grenades heal targets that start their turn inside the smoke for 3 HP. Additionally start Tactical with a Smoke Bomb.

Advancements:
  • (Sq): Lethal Bash - Rush up to an enemy and strike them with your shield, stunning them for 2 actions. Has a reduction to aim.
  • (Cpl): Deep Pockets - Grants an inventory slot.
  • (Sgt): Rapid Fire
  • (Lt): Implacable
  • (Cpt): Targeting Bias - Mark a target, reducing their Defense by 15 and immediately enter Overwatch.
  • (Maj): Expanded Storage - Gain +1 to most grenades and +2 ammo.
  • (Col): Clampdown Protocol - Overwatch can trigger up to 3 times.
