Cant use the light Cretan Archers in battels! After the loading phase the game crashes

I mean that isnt that terrible cause i dont use them anyway but im scared that the ki will use them later in the game
So im okey if i can delete them somehow :D

Sorry for this late reply.
I was very busy with my MA studies and I havent update this mod for a long time.
Still, I may install the game again and talk a look at the issue in a few days.

Hello Murray. You made some interesting units here wich are worth having. Congratulations on that. However I happened to find one problem with your mod: It cancels the effect of the "Pikemen with pikes in their hands" mod, -do you know that mod? To be honest, I can't bear to have my pikemen transformed into swordsmen...it's not your fault, of course, it's vanilla's bug. But it happens because you are repeating the bad vanilla fille into your mod and it denies the effect of pikemen correction mod. So if you could fix this in next update it would be great.

@gervbafdsw sorry for this last reply, only have time to go back to this mod recently. I have to touch the animation table because I've added new combination of animation for some units, like Cretan Archers (bow+sword) and Bactrian cavalry (bow+lance). Still, I dont know if you are talking about pike ready as battle start mod or cancel the drop pike options. I think vanilla do this kind of intentionally so that the pikemen can be more flexible (to drop pike) though they are still weak in melee. If you are talking about pike ready as battle start I might look into it in the future.

Don't worry. At least you finaly answered, so no problem.
Well,in fact I don't know the 'cancel the drop options mod', I was refering to the 'Pikemen start battles with pikes' mod, which I couldn't name properly prepiously since I din't remember what it's exact name was. For what I've tried, your mod works pretty well just deleting the animations table, which is what I did.
My advise in this case would be renaming the animations file as you sugested, for I know it works just fine, keepping in the file just the new animations you made for the mod instead of including the whole vanilla table plus yours. As for me, it's what I did for my mod, and it works fine.

Im just a ordinary gamer and some table was done early on with flaws but no revised later. Glad that you have some knowledge on mod as well. I guess I will make the change later, perhaps with some new units :P
