New upgrades ideas

as a suggestion:
if VFE Insectoids are loaded : an upgrade that negates the creep slowdown for that mek

how about archotech upgrades you can only get through quests and merchants?

EMP resistance upgrade
On-death explosion upgrade
Self-resurrect upgrade (like death refusal but for mechs)
An upgrade that killing will satiate their mechanitor's kill-thirst need, or just any need.
Cloaking upgrade
Overcharge upgrade, granting boosts with downsides.
Toxic filter upgrade, reducing waste in exchange for releasing toxic gas while recharging.
Bandwidth reduction upgrade.
Recharge power when hit by EMP (still get stunned tho), maybe with a cooldown to avoid abuse.

Add-on gun/rocket upgrade, like tho Mini-turret backpack in "Vanilla Apparel Expanded" mod, multi gun add-on = even more fun
Combat drone, basicly same as above but ... drone ... more gun on my broomba so it can kill stuff while cleaning the floor :cta_emo7:

It sound fun to have more gun on your mech, it feel like a mobile fortress, imagine a War Queen with 5 minigun on it ... should call it Warthog Queen ... haha, War Queen go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :cta_emo7:

Great idea, I thought about it before, but turrets require more coding, but I will try to add them in one of future updates

Not an upgrade but can you let upgrade storage's stored items count as items for the bills? That way I can always have 3 of something on the upgrades loaded up and ready

are you talking about same thing as The_fallen_sandwich in the comments? If it's this problem, did you tried to check if that still here in the last update

Nah I mean for some reason bills don't count anything inside the upgrades storage. As if those items aren't in the map. Not that the storage itself doesn't let you put things inside it.

Nah I mean for some reason bills don't count anything inside the upgrades storage. As if those items aren't in the map. Not that the storage itself doesn't let you put things inside it.

I suggest this in "Big and small" mod before, but they mainly do genes and mech dont have genes, basicly ... "Size" upgrade, "make big mech small" or "make small mech big", stat or just cosmetic, it kinna fun to see a giant broomba run after enemy :cta_emo7:

Size upgrade is some what more challenging, mech size alone isnt much problem, problem come from the weapon they carry, clothes also if you using Milira race. I said it before, it may become a really tall order, so dont try to hard with it, this mod is already a great mod :love_seagull:

Size upgrade is some what more challenging, mech size alone isnt much problem, problem come from the weapon they carry, clothes also if you using Milira race. I said it before, it may become a really tall order, so dont try to hard with it, this mod is already a great mod :love_seagull:
there is already 2 items in that big and small mod that does that already which despite saying its intended for animals, it actually works for mechanoids too.

It would probably be a bit broken on some mechs, but a A,B, and C upgrade that increases a mechs base "Work skill". Some mods their mechs skill set so low I can't bring myself to ever make them. Others are so close to 20 that I almost just want to edit their mod to make them 20, so at least occupying upgrade spots would be a slightly more "Balanced" way to go about it.

If you really want to make things unbalanced though, an upgrade that adds more upgrade space.

It would be nice if combat mechs could haul or clean for between raids, etc. What the Hack has some upgrades like this, but I find the implementation of the upgrade system there a bit clunky.
