Ideas for Rebirth System
I'm adding rebirth system to the mod, this is to reset levels 1 and stats to 0, BUT you gain permanent boosts/effects. Right now all I have is that you get a stack-able increase to XP gain. I was also thinking passive HP regeneration (but you can technically do this already with Custom HP Regen...), permanent increase to base CRIT chance? Also you get a Rebirth title above player head with current amount of rebirth (configurable if want on/off) ex. Rebirth 1...

Maybe you could add a skill tree UI that you can use your rebirth "points" on, and it would get you permanent upgrades and such.

For instance, one of the upgrades could be "Permanent spelunker potion (toggleable)" or maybe you could have some that raise the spawnrate, or maybe even unlock a new stat.


Another idea is that you'd get your permanent boosts from rebirthing, but you'd also get to apply a multiplier on an upgrade, so for example, every time you upgraded VIT, it would give 2 levels instead of one, and you could stack it. (X2, X4, X8, etc.)
It would be interesting if, based on your level (at least 50), you received a "Rebirth Token" that could be integrated into weapons, accessories, and armor, and that would increase the percentage of damage/armor/attributes the respective items have. For example, a sword with 100 damage and a 50-level rebirth token would give a 50% boost, i.e., 150 damage, or a breastplate with 8 armor would give 12 aromr.
OR an accessory with a certain attribute, such as defensive or lucky, would give 6 defense or 6% crit chance instead of 4%.

I see, these are good lol. Yall keeping me busy with this one. The rebirth skill tree and token can be one, in the skill tree you could receive a rebirth token in exchange for the rebirth point :). What I am going to do is release a soft update that has the rebirth system in place, and then I will build up on it.

For a skill tree, you could do stuff that isn't upgradable via normal upgrades, a few I thought of were like:

-Melee weapon size increase (default +33%)
-Reduced potion sickness (both mana and health)
-Extra accessory slot
-More coins (default +50%)
-Extra grappling hook range (default +33%)

Whatever way you do it, I can't wait to see how this rebirth system works when it's fully done!
Maybe make the rebirth threshold grow every rebirth and make the EXP gain large so you're encouraged to rebirth whenever possible to push forwards?

Perhaps rebirthing when your level exceeds 100 grants additional bonuses so you don't lose out by rebirthing late, such as adding your level to the xp multiplier so for example rebirthing at level 200 increases xp gain by 100% instead of 50%

perhaps after rebirthing a certain amount you start getting more stat points per level? like every 10 rebirths you get an extra point per level up or something? include that with what with the idea that rebirths get pushed back every time would make it interesting. ie 1st rebirth is lvl 100 then lvl 200 etc

How about enemies getting stronger after every rebirth. Like a new game+ so keeping stat points could become mandatory and not too over-powered

Eg.
lvl 1 RB 0 Blue Slime 50 HP 14 ATK
lvl 100 RB 0 Blue Slime 2500 HP 140 ATK


lvl 1 RB 1 Blue Slime 80(50+60%) HP 22(14+60%) ATK
lvl 100 RB 1 Blue Slime 4000[(50+60%) *100] HP 220[14+60%) *10] ATK

lvl 1 RB 2 Blue Slime 110(50+120%) HP 31(14+120%) ATK
lvl 100 RB 2 Blue Slime 5500[(50+120%) *100] HP 310[14+120%) *10] ATK

New rebirth system out, I added most things to it. I will add the other suggestions later... like rebirth token might be the hardest one.

I know you added an option for luck but that uses just the normal buff effect, would it be possible to make it kind of like the coins? ie able to increase luck so we would have a ludicrous drop rate for rare items? also to be able to toggle the spawn rate changes?

why you dont use the Fargos loot bonus mod to increase the drop rate of your own?

why you dont use the Fargos loot bonus mod to increase the drop rate of your own?
because I don't always want a 5x increase
