And when I did not find a solution to fix it, I will for sure not find a solution now (5 years nearly no modding DST).
But if you have a solution let me know. You can study the code of my mod and try yourself to bring them back. As noted in the changelogs even setting it to 0.1 made everything full of them after that game update. Maybe making an option for each single clockwork (eg. knight) will work better, don't remember if I tried this...
