On my Windows machine, everything is working as expected.
Some technical info:
OS: Arch Linux (Manjaro) 64bit
CPU: Intel i7 4770HQ
GPU: Integrated graphics :)
RAM: 16 GB
No other mods are being used.

Edit 2: The only error I can find in CivV's log files:
> Runtime Error: \home\eijk\.local\share\Aspyr\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\ingame editor (v 39)\ige_infotooltipinclude.lua:147: attempt to call global 'L' (a nil value)
Not sure if this is related to the problems though.

still its annoying, as the renconfiguration of the gamefiles take along time for me
