Problem with exporting model w/ custom normals!
Hey! Thanks for a great tool, been using it for years. +100 rep for keeping updating it.
But i've encountered an issue. There is only one good custom normals addon i know - Blend4Web. It works perfectly, but when i export my model to smd and compile it to source, model's vertice normals appear distorted. They are custom yeah but the directions have randomly changed. If i restore custom normals in blender, normals appear the same in source.
I would be real happy if there's a way to solve this. I can provide screenshots if needed.
Thanks!

Some of the normals are OK, and some of them are very distorted, as seen here.

I know this is an old topic but I just wanted to say that its triangulation that is causing this, apply custom normals with a data transfer from a duplicate, underneath a triangulation modifier set to used Fixed method for quads
