The game started off kinda fun, but wow are their a lot of cheaters. Not even like "this guys a little sus" its full blown rage hackers with walls and headshot scripts. I've seen the same guy just dumpstering entire lobbies for two days now.

The game seems really interesting and I love the old school MMO feeling. I'd love to keep playing, but the camera controls feel pretty awful at the moment. The developers will probably get it all sorted eventually, but I'd rather wait until then to try and progress any further.

Clans isn't a terrible game by any means, but it is not worth the asking price. The story is mediocre and linear from start to finish, and the mech selection is so small that it feels boring. You will literally run the last quarter of the game with a team of five Dire Wolves because the game doesn't give you anything else.
When I beat Mercenaries, I was excited to play through again and try new things. I even started a "pokemon run" where I tried to collect one of every mech. Clans is so uninspiring that I don't even have it in me to play through again for the second ending. This game could have honest to god been a DLC for Mercenaries and been better received.

It's Overwatch with Marvel characters and 5 extra buttons to manage. I like the concept of the game, but it feels so slowed down by all the extra skills to manage.

I'll be honest, I absolutely love the concept of extraction shooters. I hate the needlessly complicated mechanics and stress that come with games like Escape From Tarkov.

That being said, Incursion Red River is a casuals extraction shooter. Its single player (or co-op), you can scale the difficulty, and you can take the game at your own pace. If you want to sweat it out against the A I, max the difficulty out and go buck wild my little lunatics. Maybe you're like me, and you have a physical/mental handicap. Drop those A I down to all thumbs mode and enjoy bumbling your way through the map.

At the moment, I would say the biggest downfall of the game is the limited content. A single map, few mission types, weapon variety is small, and the game play gets repetitive rather quickly. The title is in early access, and has had numerous QoL updates in the little time I've owned it. Some updates are even helping address issues I've outlined in this review.
In this day and age, I'm genuinely impressed by any studio that looks at what the community is frustrated with and tries to improve upon that feedback.

So, is this game for everyone? absolutely not. There are players who want that suspenseful game play which can only be provided by PvP focused mechanics.
Does this game have an audience? absolutely. Don't let anyone tell you what you should enjoy. I love shooters and competitive games, but it wears me down so quick. Sometimes, I just want to have fun and not stress myself.

If you're unsure if Incursion Red River is a game you should invest time (and more importantly money) into, give it a little time and see how things develop.

I used to love this game. Hunter: Call of the Wild was a casual hunting game that allowed you to just relax and enjoy the activity of hunting. You could make the game what you wanted in the sense that you could just go shoot a few animals to rank up and improve your hunter, or take your time cultivating heards to pass on desired traits for the next generation. It really felt like it appealed to a wide range of people.
The developer changed something and now the game feels like a walking simulator. I rarely see animals, the few that I do see just run off while Im trying to stalk them, and nothing feels as rewarding as it once did. I honestly miss the way Call of the Wild used to play, because I have disabilities that prevent me from hunting like I used to. I miss being outdoors and spending time in nature, and this always felt close enough that it was relaxing.
I probably install Call of the Wild once every 4-6 months to see if the developers have fixed any of the issues I have with the game, and then sadly uninstall after a few days of walking mindlessly through a reserve and only seeing a few animals.

This is a really solid BR. The movement and gunplay are solid and almost all of the weapons feel balanced (not you burst rifle, you're trash). The game is free, the battle pass is free, and you can earn credits to buy items in the store by just playing and ranking up. The player base is pretty low, so you get some odd matchmaking. Single player que is pretty quick and duos only take a minute, but trios may take 10 minutes to find a lobby. Some of the matches are half bots at times, and other times you have the absolutely SWEATIEST people. I honestly cant figure out why this game doesn't have a larger playerbase. If you're looking to play a pretty decent parkour style BR, Bloodhunt will not disappoint.

Sadly, the devs seem to have stopped putting new content out. The game hasn't been abandoned necessarily, but its not being worked on.
Its a free game though, so what do you have to lose? Hop on with a friend or run a few solo rounds, hit the streets and get your suck on!
