Wish I could rate it, but Disco Elysium is one of those 'one-of-a-kind' games so I can't simply slap X out of 10 and leave it at that. Definitely give the game a try, even If you'll hate it it'll make it up to you with its sheer uniqueness and polish.

The game itself is far from 'overwhelmingly positive', but keeping in mind the fact that we don't get a lot of decent co-op titles it gets a pass (on sale or via EA Play).

My main problem is that it could be several hours shorter. Hell, it should be several hours shorter. Last chapters feel like something you have to get over with rather than something you truly want to play, and subpar main story definitely doesn't help. It may not be much of a problem If you're couch co-oping, but If you're playing online you will notice significant dip in your engagement and enjoyment during the last ~4 hours.

Sony, I am once again asking for TLoU2 and Bloodborne.

Did a walkthrough with the adult patch, imo it's essential so don't miss out (you have to manually drop it inside game's folder).

Pros:
+ The art. Sprites and backgrounds are superb;
+ Soundtrack. Nothing especially fancy, but there is a good variety and most of the time it fits seamlessly, w/o constantly reminding that it's present;
+ The atmosphere. Feels highly authentic because there is a plethora of references to the culture of this time, not your average 'hey it's set in X year in X place, now let's never bring those aspects ever, ever again'.

Cons:
- Basically everything related to the story. Characters, writing, plot — not even mid. Everything is too simple and cardboard, no flow of time, basic, etc.

Conclusion:
If you want to read something solely for the sake of femslash in it then ASE is worth it (basically why I'm going to recommend this game despite huge cons). But If you want to read something at least remotely interesting with femslash in it — I'd pass.

UPD: Seen all bosses. Still worth it even though the open world might be exhausting at times.
